Services
One of the critical keys for determining the purchase of a home is the awareness of any present and potential future issues and their cost implications. Some issues may be critical and require immediate replacement or repair; others may be a future maintenance item that can be performed at a later date.
Below you'll find a sample report typical of what you'll receive from White Blaze home Inspection Services. The report will highlight the major findings; areas that should be fixed immediately or are a safety concern and minor maintenance items that can be repaired or fixed at a later date. Detailed pictures along with text explain the finding.
White Blaze Home inspection employs the use of electret ion chamber detection technology (E-Perm)for radon detection and measurement. It's a passive device (requires no power source) that when exposed to radon gas and the results read by an analyzer, will provide a reliable and accurate report on the level of radon in the home.

Two major items were incorrect and ended up costing us (the sellers) money. These were errors that a competent/qualified home inspector would not have made.

His report noted the level as being less than R36 when in fact the 10 inches of blown-in cellulose has an insulation level of R36. The

Made a number of errors in their inspection of my home that cost me money. The inspector also made a completely inappropriate comment in his report regarding the market value of the home which was entirely outside of his mandate as an inspector.
Suggest you find a more competent firm--as a buyer or seller.

I called White Blaze about a cabin in Elkton, VA in which I needed a home inspection. Bruce was very professional on the phone. He completed the inspection the following week and I received the report within 24 hours. Bruce was extremely thorough and detailed in his findings. I highly recommend his services if you have a home in the Virginia area.
