The employees are good but I'm going to assume it's the manager who came out stopped the car wash and made 5-6 cars behind me back out including myself and said I couldn't go through because I had a slip tank in the back of my truck. Funny thing is I had been through there two weeks prior same truck and they let me go through there loss nott mine.

I was with the company for a little over a month and after dealing with childish behavior etc I resigned.
After about 3 weeks of being employed, I received a text from a customer and the customer said via text an associate gave my number out. About a week later, kids there who have not grown up made up lies towards me. Of course, management sided with them and didn't believe me.
I was told that it's my loss with myself leaving. The only thing that's my "loss" is not dealing with the unorganization, saving my money on gas now.
Customers are always unhappy and some approached me telling me GM

Update: I'm officially through with this company. Their machines are breaking down faster than they can fix them. I went through on Saturday and 3 components were broken, the wax machine, the windshield dry spin cloth, and the entire wheel cleaning and polish machine was removed. I pay for the top package and this is unacceptable. Then when I go to cancel my subscription, magically that component of the website isn't working. I call the location and it keeps going to voice-mail. Broken machines, broken website and broken service, next I'm heading up there. They will cancel this subscription today

Poor service, owner is disrespectful and doesn’t take accountability for his services/damaged products. Their machines malfunction and damage cars without any safety regulations or courtesy for paying customers. The owner “Neil” and Sean kemp are also lawyers and sweep people under the rug instead of being accountable. Court case coming soon

This review is for the dog wash only.
The water is far far too hot and there is no way to control the temperature. Dogs have a higher body temp than humans. They absolutely need cooler water.
Its set up like a self car wash where you turn a dial for rinse, wash, condition... but there are no labels indicating the brand of soap used, even if there were - the dispensing system is hidden so for all I know its hand soap. I just kept it on rinse and used my own.
The tub is not slanted so dirty water pools and its obvious they don't clean the tub daily. I came to use the dog wash around noon

I used this car wash on 7/5/20 and was put in line way too close behind a truck. At the time when we entered the wash, a passenger in my car noted this, too. It was REALLY close. Nevertheless, having been through many hundreds of car washes like this in my life, I always put it in neutral, take my hands off the wheel, move my feet from out of the pedal area, and let the conveyor take over. After a few really close calls during the wash - and with my hands and feet nowhere near any controls and my car in neutral - my car was finally pushed into a truck in front of me. My beautiful car was damaged at the new location on West Broad Street in Henrico. The General Manager, Alex Mejia responded to my damage claim in less than 24 hours with a boiler pate response. Jeff Small, the owner, is a very clever businessman that has effectively designed a form letter for these type of incidents. However, I have elected to go public with this damage and litigate for recovery of my loss. I encourage others to stay away from this business as while I was there complaining about the damage, one woman lost her license plate, and another her wiper blade. Hardly state of the art equipment

We've been using Rio for several years. They do a decent job washing our cars, though the back of my suv isn't as clean as it should be. They recently changed some of the washing & drying machines which we initially thought would be a good thing. The washing is better, but the drying is actually worse. For the price, & convenience though, you can't beat it.

So; let's cut to the chase. Times have changed and the car wash service industry has evolved. Rio has evolved with times. They get it. Other car washes are still giving you the same old slow, expensive and mediocre product. Rio has found a way to improve quality, increase value and reduce wait times. I travel a lot and when I'm home I don't have time to waste. Rio solves the problem of keeping my car clean.

This review is for the staff, I know it's just a car wash... but for the past year I've been coming to this location, all of you look miserable and angry when loading vehicles into the bay. You could at least smile and act like you appreciate your customers. Also, the vacuums have good suction one day, the next is like trying to squeeze water from a rock. Can't wait until things are improved!

I really like Rio Car Wash. I had the privilege of meeting and talking with the owner. I told him how much I enjoyed my monthly plan on car washes and how his staff are well trained and helpful.
The next thing I said to him was my brother and I would like to open a car wash. He then said why on earth do you want to do that, jokingly of course. He provide very useful information.
I recommend Rio because I can run through the car wash as many times as I need or want to any day of the week.
Only issues I have is the prep station’s water and soap needs to be changed more often. I hate washing

Do not get you car washed here!!!!
I just purchased a new 2016 Toyota Tacoma and paid $37,000.00 for it. I took it through Rio Car Wash (this is the only car wash it has ever been to) and the carwash left scratch marks all down the side and back tailgate. I talked to the employees there they took pictures then denied that the car wash caused it. I filled out a damage claim and Richard Degennaro sent back a basic prefilled form letter via email stating that they didn't cause the scratches. I will never take my vehicle here again and you shouldn't either hand washing for now on...
