Dr. Brooke Jackson is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. After completing two fellowships, Laser Surgery at Harvard and a second in Mohs, she founded the Mohs Surgery Unit at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She then moved to Chicago, where she founded the Skin Wellness Center of Chicago and held a clinical faculty position in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University.
In 2013, Dr. Jackson relocated to the Triangle area. She was an Associate Professor of Dermatology at UNC, Chapel Hill, until opening her private practice Skin Wellness Dermatology Associates, PA. Dr. Jackson's practice philosophy focuses on patient education and skin wellness. She is a frequent and sought after guest and resource for national and local media on dermatology concerns.

Skin Wellness Dermatology Associates is excited to offer a non-invasive, pain-free approach to reduce unwanted fat in the abdomen, thighs, back and love handles. If we are not a participating provider with your health insurance plan or you do not have health insurance coverage, we will be happy to provide care for you as a self-pay patient. You are responsible for all charges at the time of service. As a courtesy for our out-of-network patients who do have insurance, we will submit a claim on your behalf to your insurance company.

Attentive and Professional!
I was referred to Skin Wellness Dermatology and Dr. Jackson by a friend. I'm so glad she did! Dr. Jackson and her staff are wonderful. She is accurate and detailed with her diagnosis and generous with samples. She explained to me what my current symptoms mean and how we can address them. As my condition changed so did my daily skin needs. The Vanicream samples allowed me to explore several options to find what worked for me. I will continue as a patient and encourage others to try her practice as well!

Dr. Austin Newsome is excellent! I came in to my first appointment feeling frustrated and defeated. However, when I left I was excited, renewed, and optimistic about my new skin care journey. I had been dismissed by two doctors before this practice and I was told “maybe you were just one of the unlucky ones” and had a doctor that wouldn’t come near me. The doctors at this practice went above and beyond and gave me samples of an expensive medication and made sure I had a year prescription to fill. The difference is clear. I don’t usually post my face online but I have to share the before and after. I didn’t run into any issues or rude staff but I’m not negating other people’s experiences. I just wanted to share mine. I see that there is another Alexis Byrd whom has given this practice a very negative review, which is very unfortunate. However, that Alexis Byrd is not me. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Jackson and her staff. They are personable, kind, and empathetic. I always enjoy visiting the office for my appointments and have received nothing but stellar service. Being a patient there has been life changing for me in the best ways. I highly recommend!

MUST READ! I don’t even know where to start. Do not waste your time or money! The entire office is unprofessional! Like many others in the comments have experienced they sent paperwork to the wrong email address despite my providing the correct one. Once that was addressed the front office resent papers to the correct email, however the staff had an attitude and seemed annoyed as if they weren’t the ones who made the mistake!! The paperwork they ask you to complete upon arriving is to reduce wait time but it’s pointless considering they still ask for the same documents upon checking in! Dr

Overall, a great experience. Dr. Jackson was thoughtful, diligent, and pleasant. Dr. Jackson asked a lot of questions to really get a full picture of what was going on with me and my hair. My biggest concern was not during my actual appointment but when scheduling. The person who answered the phone was rude and abrupt, honestly someone should talk to the people answering the phone to remind them that many people who are calling are dealing with sensitive skin/hair issues. A little compassion could go far during these calls. But I give 4 stars for the appointment all staff upon arrival was great

My experience with this office was not good. New patient paperwork was all about you giving them the right to sue if you have a bad experience with them, and them charging an excessive high fee if you didn’t make your appt. I understand charging for not canceling an appt in time. However, their fee was more than any other office I’ve experienced. That and the “you better not talk about me threat“ was all I need to know about them. I recently saw Dr Jackson as a new patient. I have been going to a large dermatology practice in Raleigh for years and thought it was time for change and wanted to see someone more attentive. From the moment I checked in everything was so thorough. The front desk staff were very nice. I completed paperwork online prior to my visit which sped things along.
