Mole screenings are critical for early detection of skin cancer and other conditions. It is a quick, painless procedure where the physician fully inspects the skin for suspicious growths. If you find a mole exhibiting any of the following characteristics, call to see a trained medical professional immediately.
Skin cancer is a condition where one type of cell grows uncontrolled in a disorganized fashion, disrupting and replacing normal tissues and their functions. There are three main forms of skin cancer -- Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Melanoma. The first two are curable. Melanoma is curable if detected early, but can be fatal if it spreads.
Botox is a non-surgical procedure used to treat wrinkles, including those on the forehead, crows feet surrounding the eyes, and frown lines in addition to many other types of wrinkles. A few small injections will relax the muscles around the wrinkles to smoothen and relax them. Botox may also be used to treat excessive sweating.
The Fraxel treatment is a safe, non-ablative laser skin procedure that can resurface damaged skin and uncover the youthful skin you long for. Fraxel treatment uses patented fractional technology to target damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into the skin. The laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched, which promotes rapid healing.

Didn’t have a good experience there. When I was explaining my skin problems ( had face and body issues) to the assistant while she was writing them down she proceeded to tell me that dr. Hudinka could not cover all my issues in one visit 😑 like is that not the point of being seen by a doctor. When the doctor came in she only checked my body and was about to leave when I had to ask her to check my face. In the midst of feeling rushed I forgot to tell her some of my other symptoms and I mentioned to her about my scalp being more dry than usual and she told me to use head and shoulders smh..so

Haven't actually gotten to make it to my appointment yet. This review is for the appointment intake. The appointment manger is incredibly unprofessional. Her attitude during each phone interaction is remarkably disgusting. While the practice may be great and I may have an amazing experience at my appointment, I don't think the first interactions should be via the young lady with the very nasty attitude.

I enjoyed my experience and the girls up front are pleasant. While waiting for my appointment I have witnessed them dealing with people who come into the office with no masks and just unprepared for their appointments. Those patients then have the nerve to get attitudes with them like they are the ones that have done some thing wrong to the them. I know for a fact that when they schedule the appointment they tell you to wear mask and bring photo Id and insurance card. I would rather have someone who knows their job taking care of me then someone playing around. People really need to get out of

My experience with Dr. Hodinka was one of the best medical experiences I have ever had. She is extremely thorough & detailed. My visit did not seem rushed, and she took the time to explain everything to me in terms I understand. During my biopsy I began to get very lightheaded (I have a huge needle phobia!), and they made me feel very taken care of, relaxed and calm. I drove over 2 hours for my appointment because the reviews were so great, and they were right! I am thankful for Dr. Hodinka for her attentiveness & her willingness to go above and beyond to help pursue my diagnosis.

This was my very first visit with NC Dermatology and I am very pleased with the service. All the staff were friendly, pleasant, and hospitable. The doctor (Dr. Patel) was very thorough. He listened carefully and attentively to my concerns and was very knowledgeable. After his thorough exam and assessment, he came up with a very clear and concise plan. I am feeling confident and relieved with his care plan.

Staff is always pleasant and Kayla at the front desk even remembers who I am when I walk in-- a rarity these days! Both Dr. Patel and Emily, the esthetician, are competent, efficient and kind, exactly what you'd hope for in your medical providers!

This was my first visit. Dr Patel was great. He took his time, answered my questions, provided the detail needed to much better understand his findings. I felt I had a thorough exam. I'll definitely continue with Dr Patel for future visits.
One negative was the front desk support. When I called for the appointment, the person was not friendly at all. I felt I was bothering her by calling. When I arrived at the office and checked out, there wasn't a friendly atmosphere at the front desk.
