Bloom Pilates
Katie Agro is a PMA(R) Certified Pilates Teacher that has had a life long love for movement and dance for over 20 years. She has been trained in Arizona and San Francisco in ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. A Phoenix native, she lived in San Francisco for 5 years where she received her pilates certification.

Katie began her education with an 8 week pilates immersion course through renowned Ellie Herman studios. She then completed an 800 hour comprehensive teacher training under Ellie herself. Taking an interest in rehabilitation, she also completed an 8 week Rehabilitation Intensive where she studied neuromuscular re-education and its benefits towards improving muscular dysfunction and chronic pain.

Pilates is a method of exercise designed by German born Joseph Pilates in the 1920's that is performed on the mat and other various spring loaded equipment. He invented pilates as a way for people to strengthen their center, increase flexibility, tone muscles, and balance the muscular skeletal system.
I've been working with Katie for a year and am happy to say I now have the lean muscle that I wasn't able to get from cardio and weight training alone. I have trained at busy pilates studios before, and I feel like the quiet atmosphere at Bloom enables me to focus entirely on my movements and body awareness.
Prices are based on a 55 minute session. All sessions are by appointment only and payment is expected at time of visit. All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Booking your appointment in advance will increase your chance of securing your preferred times. Pack of 10 sessions expires six months from signup date.
Feel free to contact Katie if you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment. Bloom Pilates is a private studio conveniently located in the central corridor of Phoenix. Easy access is provided from Glendale and Highway 51. Because it is a private studio, sessions will be scheduled by appointment only.

If you haven’t tried pilates yet, please do yourself a favor and visit Katie at Bloom! Pilates is a wonderful mix of strength training and core work and Katie is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable and always comes up with new routines and ways to keep it interesting. For years I was addicted to running but didn’t like the toll it was taking on my body. Thanks to Katie I now see how pilates can be a lifelong practice for me and how it will benefit my overall health long term. The studio is peaceful and inviting and full of top-notch equipment. I can’t recommend Bloom and Katie highly

Katie is an amazing instructor that is very knowledgeable. She helped me recover from back surgery with a custom workout. She identified where I needed the most work and was very patient, yet knows when to push you. Plus, the Bloom studio is super-convenient and comfortable.
