When you visit the store we start by working up sketches of your ideas. You don't have to make detailed pictures or be an artist to draw your idea. Many of our customers just describe what they want and we do the rest. If you would like to bring in a doodle on a napkin or look through some books at our store we will figure it out.
The questions we ask at this step, along with the drawings, will give our craftsman the information needed to continue with a wax model for casting. After this model is finished, we have you come in to view it. This way you can see your original idea in 3-D, and you know the jewelry will look the same as ours.

Services
Many of our customers started with one piece of jewelry, but then wanted us to continue to design a whole jewelry set for them. They really wanted that "put together" look. We can do that for all types of jewelry, from the earrings to the ankle bracelet to the necklace. Even items out of the "normal" realm can be designed by Bay Design Custom Jewelers.

I had purchase a gentlemen's emerald and diamond ring from a large retail jeweler. Often it felt like the emerald was loose in the setting but when I took it back it never seemed to be quite right. I took it to Keith and he found that the prong tips were worn. He fixed and polished it and now I can wear it, confident the stone is secure.

This place is fantastic! I wanted to replace the diamond chip in my great-grandmother's engagement ring with a proper diamond before proposing to my wife. Other jewelers said that the setting was too small and could not hold a diamond. Bay Design got it done with a 0.24 carat diamond that my fiance (now my wife) absolutely adores! We had them do our weddings bands as well, and still go to them for resizing needs. Friendly service, wonderful craftsmanship, and a fair price. I recommend them to anyone looking for custom jewelry.

Hey made me and my boyfriend a set of rings that matched. I brought one in off the internet and got the wrong size so he made another one then we decided to get one for me. He was very professional he called me to come it and look at the print and asked if anything I would liked changed and I said no. It is perfect. Great place will go back a 100%

I have done business with Bay Design and its proprietors practically since it opened. Whether it was repairs or assorted custom commissioned works, I have never been disappointed. Prices are fair, quality beyond reproach and service excellent. There isn't another craftsman in the area that can even approach compare or capability.

I recently took my wife’s mother’s wedding ring set to Bay Design Jewelers. The set had been tucked away in a safe deposit box for years. It was very old and in pretty sad shape. I decided that I wanted to give it to my wife as an anniversary present. But first, the set obviously needed a good deal of professional attention. After looking at the rings, the jeweler told me that he could make the rings look new again. But first, I wanted him to tighten the prongs, resize the set as well as weld the two rings together. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the piece as well as the customer service. The piece was ordered Sept 7th and was told 4-6 weeks for pick up. They called my husband twice to tell him they broke the piece and it was not ready until late December. It took 13 weeks to be ready. I have no faith in the quality of the piece because his excuse for the delay was that he broke it. My husband spent a good deal of money on this piece and it looks cheap and poorly made. When my husband picked the piece up, the customer service was terrible. They offered no apologies for how long it took and no discounts
