I would give these apartments a 0 if I could. My kids dad lives here and I am here visiting during day hours often. There are multiple units that have dog feces COVERING their patios. When I helped him move in the toilet was stained and they refused to resurface it so we did it on our own. When the shower was resurfaced they couldn't bother themselves to remove hair and just went over it. My kids had to stay at my place on their dad's night because heating wasn't working. took them 3 days to fix. The grass area including the dog play area is covered in dog feces. Office girls have attitude and

I absolutely HATE it here and I just moved in 5 days ago but I have had nothing but problems. The day I moved in, the kitchen stove and bathroom sink were absolutely disgusting/dirty and I was told by one of the reps in the office that it was my responsibility to clean it myself. Which to me was rude and insensitive. They lied to me and told me they will get it cleaned, only to give me the run around. I was tired of ordering out so I had to clean the stove myself. In addition to that my bedroom window and bathroom sink were broken/not working properly. They claim it is a gated neighborhood but

I've been living here for about 6 years. If your thinking of renting here, DON'T! The catalytic converter was stolen from my work van in their parking lot...nothing was done about it along with a string of break-ins leaving people's car windows smashed and things stolen. I pleaded w/ management to get cameras in parking lots as they have two by entrances...and they stated, "unfortunately crime happens" Appliances are older than most residents. I offered to pay to upgrade my dishwasher as it is corroded and dirty , but they refused and told me "it still runs". Work orders are backed up and never

I moved here with my family last year, I personally enjoy living here. I never question my safety, my neighbors are polite and keep to themselves for the most part. Sometimes I forget I have an upstairs neighbor! At times it takes a while for work orders to be completed but the office always keeps me informed when parts are delayed due to COVID-19 or supply shortages. Recently I’ve noticed lots of sprinklers have been working like they should when I go on my night walk on the property. This place is definitely improving, keep up the good work.

I have lived here 5 years. This place is not a well maintained place. They do not care about the tenants. The pool was opened without furniture.and was not maintained. Within 4days you could not see the bottom. And they let people swim anyway when we complained, they just closed it and said they'd open again the 19th. Ac always needs reset when they switch from heat to cool. It's been 100 hot every day and I put a work order in over a week ago. I called today and was told I'm on a list being worked through. I have seen no one on the roofs restting anyone's ac. They want your

DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP. Copper wood apartments is by far the worst place I have ever lived. When I moved in last April everything looked pretty good, however shortly after I moved in it was time for AC season. The furnace and ac work on a boiler system that the maintenance guys have to switch over for each season, meaning you cannot access your ac until they decide it's time to switch from heat. I waited a couple weeks through hot weather before they switched it over and even then my ac would not work. It was 85degrees and up all day every day inside my apartment. I called the office 10

This place has Rats!!! No!!! For real!!!this is the worst decision you could ever make moving in this rat hole. I've suffered through the last two year counting down the days until I could leave. This is the worst decision you could make!!! They will charge you so much money for pest control But act like your lying when you tell them about the rats running through the apartment complex during the night. They live in the walls!!! Good luck with your search, Believe me there are much better places.

Went on a tour here and could tell the office staff were not great. After going for a tour we sat down to talk numbers and ask questions. Pretty standard so far. For a majority of the questions I had, she would briefly answer then mention it was on the paper right in front of me (it wasnt). She kept suggesting I read the paper rather than engage in the conversation. It was a strange experience. I know customer service typically only gets worse after youve signed your lease so this experience was enough for else to look elsewhere.

Unbelievable how this place can get away with what they do.
First of all, the pictures they have submitted are laughable. The apartments look nothing like this. Buyer beware, the units are full of shoddy workmanship that I can assure you that you will be charged for at move out.
They add extra fees onto your rent so a lot of months you get a not so nice surprise $$$
The leasing office staff are very unprofessional and criminal. Do not lease here.

Get everything in writing, get receipts, save works orders, take pictures, and insist on walk through when moving out.
The complex itself had police there practically every night. Domestic violence, car break-ins, homeless rooting through garbage, dumpsters overflowing, laundry room had mostly broken machines.
Stove didn't work right shortly after moving in, and took months for them to replace it (with a used stove that stuck too far out and blocked dishwasher). Anything needing repair required multiple requests before anyone did something.
The worst was moving out. The staff refused

I thought I would just ignore all the bad ratings online that I saw about this community. They're all not rated very high, right? Shame on me, I completely regret living at Copperwood. Cars were broken into, armed policemen were present on multiple occasions. The grounds were being redone, but not in a timely fashion, making some areas dangerous. The part that really bothers me though, is that we were consistently over-charged and management was totally incompetent. We had to go through every month to make sure we were charged appropriately, and on several occasions, we were not. When our

I resided in Sandpiper Apartments (they rebranded as Cooperwood to escape previous poor reviews) for several months. I first signed a lease for a second story apartment last year, then when I arrived to claim my apartment, I was told I had not signed a lease and they did not have an apartment for me. I showed my copy of the lease, and the property manager told me that they would find me another apartment in the complex.
Upon entering the new unit (after signing a new lease), I discovered maintenance workers trying to quickly get an apartment ready that was very obviously not finished being renovated

Best apartments to live in the area and the price is amazing and Blerina was so nice to me she's awesome! Thank you guys for providing such a nice place to stay I will recommend you to all of my friends and family in the area! All these other comments are just people who are angry over petty things. Thank you again Blerina!

I'm trying not to let anger bias this review. We've been here 18 months with our lease to expire January of 2016. The owners / management changed in February of this year and we were pleased and the new management group Greystar had a good rep. In July we received a notice that our monthly bill was increasing $60 to cover and I quote, pest control, trash, water, gas (we don't have), common electric and misc as well as other.
We sat down with the Manager and explained that we were on a fixed income with health issues. We spoke about the $147.20 increase above our agreed to lease

Crappy, crappy, crappy! If you want to live in a place where you're WT neighbors fight until 2 am, then retaliate by breaking beer bottles on your door at 3 AM, well then this is the place for you! Want your car damaged by your neighbors, move right in! Office staff good give a damn about your complaints and will tell you anything to get you out of the office, will lie to you about what you need to do to get you're AC turned on in the middle of June. Yes it's cheap and in this case you get what you pay for. Most one bedroom apts have 4 adults living in them, oh did I mention the

Applied as a guarantor for my daughter a few months ago and had a AWFUL experience.
After our initial inquiry, we were told there would be a $250 refundable holding deposit and a $50 non-refundable application fee per adult, and asked to bring a money order for $350. No problem, I took half a day off of work and went down with my daughter to apply. Showed up with the $350 money order and was told they needed separate money orders for the application fees and holding deposit - $100 and $250. I was frustrated as I'd already taken time off from work to make this happen and now needed to obtain

This place has so many problems its ridiculous. The electrical in the stairwell is all screwed up so 90% of the time we couldn't see walking up to our apartment. Also, the cement at the bottom of the stairs isn't even with the rest of the walkway so the second night of living here I was walking upstairs past dark and tripped on the cement because I couldn't see and I fell right into a brick wall. I was all bloody and scraped up.
Air conditioning was a nightmare. Maintenance paid me several visits but kept telling me it was working fine. Its funny because if it was working properly
