Pilates to Move helps clients create and maintain healthy movement patterns to benefit virtually every aspect of their lives, help prevent injury, support and inform their daily movement, and create a sense of well-being. We combine Pilates, Pilates-based integrative movement, stretching, foam rolling, and Muscle Energy Technique (MET) to guide clients through focused movement sessions that address clients' health and fitness goals.

We use a combination of Pilates technique, stretching, foam rolling and Muscle Energy Technique (MET) to help clients build strength, create and maintain healthy movement patterns, prevent injury, support and inform daily movement, and create a sense of well-being. I feel very lucky I found Beth Bilal's Pilates To Move Studio this past year.
Services
I discovered Pilates in 2010 and knew right away that it was a discipline I would be practicing for the rest of my life. After four years of dedicated practice as a student of the method, I left a 13-year career in corporate communications and completed my comprehensive Pilates education and teacher training from ITT Pilates, a top certification program offered by A Body of Work in San Francisco.
Private sessions use Pilates and Pilates-based movement to address clients' specific health and fitness goals, with an emphasis on postural alignment. In duet sessions, two clients have the opportunity to work on their specific health and wellness goals using Pilates and Pilates-based movement technique.
I began private Pilates sessions with Beth several months before my hip replacement surgery, which was over a year ago. I supplemented the privates with reformer classes. I am certain that my excellent recovery from the surgery is largely due to the strengthening, flexibility and body awareness I developed during my sessions with Beth.
