My husband and I are very happy here. The staff is very friendly and responsive. When we need something repaired it happens within a few days if not the same day! The grounds are pretty and the interior of the apartments are all getting updates with very nice marble counters, and very nice fixtures.

I moved in last month from New England and Jessica and Fred at the leasing office made it the easiest move in I’ve ever had. My large dog was welcome in the community, Jessica gave me a checklist to help stay organized, and kept me updated on coordinating my move in with renovations taking place in my cottage. The community here is friendly, close to everything and full of amenities like the pool, the residents car wash, & fitness room! The renovations get 5 stars too, new flooring, kitchen is completely new, clean and functional. The few issues I had were handled quickly. I can’t thank Jessica

So far I’m in love with the place. And the one time something broke it was fixed within an hour. I also love how quiet this place is (I can thank Jessica from the leasing office for that, if you ever read this thank you). She found me an apartment in the very back away from all the car and foot traffic. Ideal.

We were in a bind to quickly find a decent, affordable apartment and were fortunate enough to find Avemore Apartments after touring several others. The apartment complex is conveniently located, has great amenities and the apartment itself is spacious and affordable. The staff at Avemore (Jessica and Kim) went out of their way to make the leasing process as smooth as possible. I highly recommend checking out this apartment community if you are moving to the Charlottesville area.

Our time at avemore apartments started off fine until life happens in the middle of a pandemic and then you really see what this community and management is all about and their true colors show. The one good thing about this place was the maintenance team. Those guys were great, friendly, and always got the job done in a timely manner so kudos to them. Now here comes the bad part...We informed management we would have to break our lease due to life changes in my wife's and I career directly resulting from covid. Do you like rude staff, overpriced living space, spiders, snakes and ants inside your apartment? Yes, that's right.........snakes. The buildings are almost 20 years old and little to no exterior work has been done. Large holes at the foundation have allowed the slithering things to come inside your living space. What's the response from staff, "no one else has a problem". When the contracted pest control come there is little to no notification to allow for dog owners to NOT have their pets walk in or around those areas. Love this place!! Great for family!! Beautiful and great attention to detail!! Many places to walk with your four legged friends and family;) Children’s cozy park, pool....! Bus stop RIGHT AT THE APARTMENTS! NO NEED TO EVEN GO ACROSS THE STREET TO CATCH THE BUS! Great customer service and friendly neighbors! Very close to everything, McDonald’s and Food lion 5-10 walking distance! Good luck!

Recently toured Avemore and have had the best experience with the staff! Before we even got there, the staff was asking about all of our housing needs and wants. Our leasing agent Holly Hill was so friendly supportive and responsive as we decided where to live next year- you can tell she really loves her job! The staff at Avemore is so organized and willing to help you with anything you may need. The facilities are great as well and the neighborhood/location is great for the price!

My husband and I recently relocated to Charlottesville. We considered renting a townhouse until we visited Avemore! Our apartment is well-designed, spacious, and best of all - newly remodeled with appliances, carpet, cabinets, and more. Avemore staff have all been wonderful. Holly went out of her way to accommodate our last minute request to tour an apartment late on a Saturday afternoon and then to make the entire leasing process easy and stress free. Holly was even there to greet us with a warm "Welcome Home" when we picked up our keys! 5 Stars all around!!

I lived at the Avemore for 2 yrs. This winter, Forty2 LLC took over the managment of the property and my experience went from good to get me out of here! The current Property Manager is condescending, doesnt accept responsibility for her lack of knowledge or mistakes, and she has misrepresented the facts on more than one issue. The short version, they do not follow terms of your lease and break them when convenient for them (not accepting USPS packages, changing how you pay your water bill, and not giving written notice of lease term changes prior to your renewal deadline) but will hold you to

I stayed in a 2bd apartment for 4 months here. Everything was going well until it came to the end of my lease and moved out. Then you notice the people there will do every thing they can to piss you off and charge you for anything they can. Do not stay in this place for any length of time if you have other options.
