Overall lovely. The staff is always friendly and quick to get a response back to us. The other people in the community we've met have been pleasant as well and the walking distance to the downtown mall is less than 10 minutes. Not only is it close to the downtown mall but the Belmont areas is a 10 minute walk. It hosts a few very impressive restaurants. The apartments in city walk are intelligently designed and the amenities are always clean and often available. While the location and apartments are fantastic, it’s really the staff that ties the place all together—they work incredibly hard

I intended to be at City Walk for only a year after selling my house, but ended up staying a lot longer. It's super convenient to downtown, Belmont and the Woolen Mills, and is a pleasant and easy place to live. The current staff is absolutely wonderful -- very friendly and helpful.
Another cool thing is the variety of vibes, depending on which apartment you select. You can be in the sky with views of Monticello, in the woods listening to the buzzing of tree frogs, lazing quietly on your porch in the southern afternoon sun, or in the thick of the poolside social scene. Just make sure you consider

I really loved living at City Walk Apartments and I'm sorry to be going. Everyone on staff is kind, helpful, and responsive, from facilities to leasing. It's in a great location (I'm really going to miss the view of Carter's Mountain) and I loved my apartment space. I highly recommend living here, especially if you are new to Charlottesville and getting used to the area. Thank you to everyone at City Walk Apartments for providing such a quality experience for my first couple years in town!

Would not recommend for a number of reasons but lack of professionalism being number one. Would recommend taking a look at The Flats, Beacon on 5th or a number of surrounding places first. They required a number of odd documents from me (never had to submit to any of my previous 6 apartment complexes before) including 1099, social security card, my residency contract etc... I am a doctor for UVA and had to jump through all sorts of hoops ultimately only to be rejected and lose my $150 “application fee” which most surrounding places don’t even charge.
Additionally I had to pay to over night

I love living here. My one complaint is the price, but if it's affordable to someone then it's worth it. The staff are great and very responsive. They take pride in the resident community. It's fairly quiet. Location Is great. Maintenance is fantastic. Amenities are great. No complaints. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

My wife and I had a great experience living in City Walk. Their administration and maintenance crew are far superior to any other place we have lived. Anytime there was an issue, the front desk and/or maintenance team would resolve it immediately. The amenities (free coffee, hang out rooms, gym, pool) were awesome. We had a lot of memorable cookouts with our friends at the pool. When it came time to move out, the process was very simple. City Walk was very fair about refunding the proper amount of our deposits. If you want to live in an apartment complex near downtown Cville, this is the place

My wife and I lived in City Walk for three years (one in main building, two in exterior building 2000). We really enjoyed our time there (especially in a corner unit in building 2000), and only moved because we purchased a house.
The location has to be one of the best in Cville. 5 minute walking distance to Sprint Pavilion and the Downtown Mall. Close to good restaurants like Beer Run, C&O, and all of the spots in Belmont.
The two bedroom apartments are incredibly spacious, with two full bathrooms and two walk-in closets. Given the corner unit, we rarely heard our neighbors next door or above
