Psychotherapy is an interpersonal, relational intervention used by trained psychotherapists to aid clients/patients in problems of living. Psychotherapy helps the person understand the connections of how their thoughts contribute to their behaviors. If people can identify their feelings and ways of thinking they become better at coping with difficult situations.
I accept most insurance plans including Medi-Cal***, however; if you have a PPO insurance plan and your plan allows "Out of Network Providers" I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance upon payment of the full-fee upfront. My services are also covered if you have a Flex Spending Account through your employer.
Kurtis Gruoner is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (7719) registered in California who has been practicing psychotherapy for two years. We are located in historic Bryan Court, a 1926 Bungalow designed by famous architect D.M. Renton who was commissioned by William Wrigley of Wrigley gum fame to build "Bryan Court" as vacation homes for his relatives and family from Chicago, IL who came out to visit Mr. Wrigley in Pasadena, CA where he would winter from the cold weather of the Midwest.
