We were very lucky to have found Diane and her team to manage the rental of our home for 3+ years while we were living overseas. Diane is an excellent property manager and very conscientious with regards to who lived there and how well they took care of the property. She is definitely not the type manager who will settle for just anybody moving in.
She managed the day-to-day issues of our property but we were always kept informed on how things were going, especially if any large expenditures were needed. We always knew things were going to be taken care of that were in the best interest for us

I’m a property owner that has been with Joel Barnard and Associates for at least ten years. Here is my “take” on what a property management company should do. First, it is my responsibility to offer a clean, well-kept, safe property for lease. Management’s job is to lease and maintain that property and generate a reasonable income. Diane Barnard and associates, especially Roxanne, have accomplished that objective. They find and vet good tenants; collect rent; prepare an end-of-year tax spreadsheet); and they schedule routine repairs (which will occur) so that my property is kept in good

Diane and Roxanne are nothing less than a lifeline! Through the pandemic and snow storm, they have been super responsive and unbelievably understanding as everyone endured such dire times. I have just renewed for a second year with Joel Barnard as they take care of their tenants to ensure fair and more than sufficient housing accommodations. It took them 3 months to replace a washer. And they never removed the old one from the property. Their unwilling to work with you if they have their own perogative and they blackmailed me and my fiancé into showing the place during covid in April of 21 while the mask and social distancing laws were still in place. Y'all have fun whoever just signed there.

We used Joel Barnard & Associates for 2 years for a rental property in South Austin. They were absolutely the best landlords we have dealt with. They were always just a phone call away for our maintenance requests, updates, etc. They told us what they expected in order to refund the security deposit, we did just that & they issued our full deposit back-just as they had said they would. I would recommend using them for anything needed in the home business.
