Jackson Home Inspection was founded in 1988 by Ray Jackson, the former owner of a local construction business. Being a carpenter by trade, licensed builder and contractor, Ray brings this experience and expertise to Jackson Home Inspection. I am a first-time buyer who is unfamiliar with the Home Inspection process, and I am a nervous wreck can you guide me?. About 50% of our clients are purchasing their first home. The office staff will ask you a few questions about the property like the approximate age and size and walk you through the procedure.

This is the second time we use Jackson Home Inspection and we had the pleasure of working with the owner Ray. For starters they were extremely accommodating. Brenda did everything she could to help and Ray (who already had a tight schedule) was able to fit us in VERY last minute. Outstanding service doesn't even begin to describe what we received. Ray took the time to show us everything he was looking at, give us pointers, and was extremely well versed and honest through out the whole process. Ray Jackson is an incredible home inspector and a great person. He was easy to schedule with and came to inspect our potential home within 1-2 days. His report was incredibly detailed. He additionally recommended multiple folks to reach out to about things that came up in the house that needed further inspection to make sure our purchase was a solid one. After we bought the house, Ray has always made himself available for further advice on other projects (even months after the inspection!). Highly recommended!

If you are seeking a home inspection company, this is the second time I have used Jackson Home Inspection. I used them again because I was so happy with the first inspector that came to inspect the first home I bought in 2014. Glenn Grutta was outstanding! Recently, Ray Jackson came with another newly hired inspector (with experience) to see his ability and gave us a 2 for 1, by default. He did a nice job pointing out the areas that would be a suggested request to repair, and also framed things that weren't as important. He brought us all together to discuss in a professional manner. He is lovely

We cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Jackson. Brian Jackson performed two different home inspections for me and was on call for a third home that did not pan out.
At both inspections, Mr. Jackson took more than three hours to complete the home inspection. He was thorough. He encouraged us to tag along and explained things in detail as he found issues. We felt confident that he had caught almost all or all of the issues present in the home. Mr. Jackson returned his report to us the same day as the inspection both times.
Additionally, his report was detailed, with a picture of each problem he found

Ray did a terrific job not only documenting issues during our walkthrough, but also explaining things to me in context of how urgent things were to fix, how easily they could be fixed, and the order in which we should get them fixed if they were interrelated but separate trades. With a background in construction, Ray was able to warn us about potential triggers for upgrades in future renovations. He explained our heating system, including how to change the filters, and answered other questions I had about the house. Scheduling was prompt and easy, and turnaround on the report was fast as well.

Chris was our inspector he was very thoroug! The Jackson Home Inspection team were all very accommodating, polite and helpful from setting up the appointment to completing the inspection. I believe they saved us multiple thousands of dollars with the first home they inspected for us, that’s why we used them again for the next one. I wouldn’t use any other company!

I have used Jackson Home Inspection to inspect 2 properties. The first inspection was very short. Chris was able to highlight very quickly some major issues and gave us the choice to continue the inspection or to stop it and save some money by not being fully charged. I have to say that We loved the house so much but Chris reaction made me thinking about when we will try to sell the house. We accepted to stop the inspection. A week later, we had a second inspection with Chris on a much better house. Thanks to Chris explanations during the first inspection, I was able to avoid houses with similar

As an agent representing consumers in their purchase of real estate I had a client introduce me to Jackson Home Inspection over two years ago. I was so impressed with the calm unbiased evaluation of their inspector that I have been recommending them ever since. Some properties have issues, Jackson finds them and gives them perspective based on the age of the property. Are they acceptable and expected issues or are then driven by neglect?
