There is no words to describe how amazing Holdheide is. Tammy and her staff are dedicated to delivering nothing but the BEST care to the children AND the families. This was especially displayed during the state shut down due to COVID. As an essential workers, My family depended on Holdheide in providing care for my son so that I we could continue to work and support our family. Holdheide already had highest standards of cleanliness and took them to the next level in keeping our son safe. We moved to Woodstock back in 2016 and I tried three different daycares to finally find the ‘ONE.’ As a new mom with two little girls I wanted the right amount of hands on education, experienced teachers, and play time. We have been here ever since and just LOVE all the teachers and director Tammy. We are truly amazed that this sweet school we found by accident with their international Baccalaureate and Montessori programs have done and continue doing for my girls and our family. You HAVE to check it off to at least see and talk with the director. You won’t regret it!

We have been at Holdheide for coming up on a year now, and my child LOVES IT!!! She has so much fun in Ms Martha’s class. I am constantly blown away by how much she has learned!! 2 years old and can count in two different languages!! She loves all the arts and crafts in her class too!
Tammy is great! She is super understand and a joy to see! Tammy is always smiling and is very knowledgeable about children in the many stages of learning. True passion of working and changing the lives of kids!

We moved to Woodstock in January 2016 and spent a month researching and visiting different daycare/school environments for our daughter. We chose Holdheide due to the curriculum and the staff. We have since added a second daughter, they both attend Holdheide and we could not be happier with the entire experience. Our soon to be 4 year old is in the beginning of an exceptional education and has not lost any of the wonder that comes with learning at that age. Our 1 year old is well on her way in no small amount to Tammy and her staff. You could not choose a better location for your children. The

Sounds like a great School that realizes teaching children to respect firearms is good and leads to less accidents it's sad that liberals would rather have children not know anything about guns. Where has when children have a chance to understand how guns are to properly be used and respected they are far less likely to misuse them. I remember having a 22 and a shotgun in the car while at high school like most school students that I knew we never shot anybody we never pointed the gun at anybody we had respect for what could happen with a gun when it was misused. I just saw the article on taking the 1st and 2nd graders to a "shooting museum" since they are studying Annie Oakley, Pecos Bill, and Davy Crockett. This is real history that nobody talks nor teaches about anymore. They were not firing any firearms nor advocating gun rights. If the parents signed the permission slips then that should be fine for everyone. Let's do what we were taught in school when they still taught about manners, keep your nose out of other peoples business. Seems like some adults posting on here need to go to Holdheide Academy and learn reading comprehension again or just let

I wish this school were closer to me because I would be lucky to have them teach my children. Any school that would incorporate visual learning along with book learning has figured out the best way a child learns. Anyone can read from a book but to visually show the children how guns were used in the Wild West and to top it with a gun safety lesson, now that's teaching! I know those children were not only entertained but learned a lot. Keep up the good work!
