Went here to meet the crew from my normal 9-to-5. Decided to have a holiday party at Bricco, which seemed like a good neutral place to try out. I'm familiar with Bricco in glastonbury, so I was expecting somewhat expensive tasty food.
That's what I got, and I'm not disappointed.
We got a antipasti for the table, then I got the wild mushroom pizza, figuring I would share with the table. The antipasti was pretty good, pretty much a sampling of meats and cheeses. which was nice, but sparse across a group of 5.
Team ordered some of the entrees. They tried the regular and sweet potato

My 2nd review of this place is yet another 5-star! Billy Grant and his team couldn't make a bad meal if they tried! And we were once again lucky enough to have "Mary P." as our server. She's outstanding!
We did lunch this time. My wife had the steak-and-cheese, I had the cod. Both were excellent. The fries were an 11 out of 10! If there is a such thing as perfect French fries, Bricco makes them! The drink menu always offers up a unique assortment of cocktails - you can't go wrong with any of them. The Creme Brulee was sinfully good, which paired quite well with their excellent

We got the White broccoli pie pizza, penne alla vodka with chicken, and rustichella rigatoni bolognese.
The penne alla vodka was one of the best foods I've ever put in my mouth. Pure heaven. It was so filling but I stuffed myself until I could barely move.
My fiancé got the the rigatoni bolognese. The sauce was tasty and very flavorful, but he wished it was creamier.
The White pie was ok, loved the crust, the hot honey, and the textures of the rest of the toppings, but it was a bit bland, missing a stronger flavor to give it that oomph.
The focaccia the meal came with was also excellent

Really enjoyed dinner here with a friend. First time either of us had been and would definitely go back. We started with the burrata which was very good. The "side" Caesar salad was more than big enough for two of us to share. Our waiter recommended the butternut squash ravioli and scrapariello. Both were delicious. The butternut squash was the perfect amount of sweet. We also enjoyed the pumpkin cheesecake which had just been added to the menu. It came with whipped cream, not too much pumpkin, also seemed to have kind of a creme brûlée type top... all very good!!!!

Would have given it 5 stars but their call ahead system really sucks. We called at 11:30AM as directed for 6:30. Got there at 6:30 and there was a 30-40 minute wait to eat inside. Ended up eating outside which was very enjoyable.
We've lived in the valley for 20 years and finally got here. We weren't disappointed. Everything from the Portuguese octopus starter to the crème brûlée dessert was delicious. This was one of the best meals we've had in W. Hartford in a long time.
Our server was attentive but clearly haggard with too many stations and the kitchen was a little slow

A classic west Hartford spot that provides reliable food and service. The octopus carpaccio was tasty but what I really want to highlight is the tiramisu. It's been weeks now but every so often I think about the tiramisu. I ponder, would it be appropriate to eat tiramisu for all three meals? Who was the master that put this tiramisu together? Should I write the person a thank you note?
It's safe to say, I will be back for more tiramisu.

Party of 4 waited over 15 minutes to be waited on. Once Jason the Mgr was aware, super apologetic, brought us an app on the house. Our waitress was extremely attentive and dinner was delicious. The drinks were yummy, Mussels, whipped ricotta, meatballs for apps. Salmon, cod, penne Ala vodka with shrimp. Great evening out with friends. Please be patient when dining out. Jason came over a few times to check on us. They're all working hard and it shows. Thank you Bricco for a great night and dinner!!!

We went here today for the first time. We were greeted nicely and even though it was busy, our wait time was only for 10min. Though we were seated in a corner, we were too hungry to notice anything. Our server was nice and friendly. There was a little delay in getting the food due to rush time but we finally got our food.
We ordered the potato cream pizza, that was surprisingly very nice! And the penne with the oak grilled chicken it was made in fresh carbonara sauce, the pasta was of a good quantity where as I felt the protein was a little less!
Then we ordered the dessert called affgato..it

Post-lockdown, this was one of the first places we wanted to try again.
It didn't disappoint. Sure the menu has changed modestly over time -- the gnocchi is still there, the wood plank salmon, the meatballs-- but this place has a lot more than that. It has energy and a staff that's as professional as it comes.
We had a waiter. I missed waiters. He made sure our drinks were refilled and took good care of us.
Best of all the food is still A+. I had the codfish and it was delish. The fish was flaky and moist yet somehow rich and satisfying. The buttermilk chocolate cake for dessert

I have been waiting and waiting to visit Bricco
And I finally got my chance. First I want to say our server Melissa was excellent! So sweet and had a lot of passion for the menu and made awesome suggestions for us. (Side point- coming from someone who worked as a server for many years, there is nothing worse than a server who can't make a good recommendation and has no passion for the food.)
Started with spicy cucumber margaritas- super good , could be a little spicier. They came without a salt rim but they were able to bring us one later and that was the key to making that drink a hit. LOVED

Tried the beef carpaccio and the fig pizza and WOW these were so flavorful. I also ordered a margarita that listed a chili salt rim, which was missing when the drink came out. Instead of replacing the drink, they brought me another glass which was smaller, so I couldn't even transfer the entirety of the drink? A little weird but overall would return

This place tempts me to go back on all my reviews and change the ratings because this surpasses 5 stars. There's convenient parking right in front of the place, the service was absolutely perfect, and the atmosphere lives up to the hype. It's perfect for a spring day. We ordered the Lump Crab Avocado Toast, Carbonara, Gnocchi, and Bianco Pizza.
The avocado toast was hands down the best avocado toast I've ever ordered. The bread was perfectly toasted but not too sharp and spiky, and you can tell there was a lot of thought put into the seasoning. It was slightly zesty, very fresh, and the crab was

Everything about this place is superb! I think that this is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. The location is convenient with plenty of parking nearby, and at around noon when I visited, there was a sizeable crowd but still room for two to be seated immediately. The outdoor seating is very comfortable, and it's a great environment to sit and eat in. We ordered the jumbo lump crab and avocado toast as an appetizer, "My Mom's" spaghetti carbonara, house made ricotta gnocchi, and a bianco pie. Every single item we ate was so tasty! Our waiter, CJ, was attentive and friendly, and they made sure

I have been to restaurant Bricco a few times before and have always had absolutely amazing food and experiences, which is what brought me back here tonight. Absolutely DID NOT disappoint and they continue to create amazing food and a genuine experience.
The outdoor seating was abundant and spacious on an absolutely beautiful night. The staff, as always, was attentive and passionate about the food and experience. The manager (Kathy) was walking around and pleasantly greeting patrons and asking how their experience has been. So friendly and thoughtful.
Ordered the Venetian seafood salad and grilled

I came here after work for happy hour with some colleagues. I was able to find parking on the street right out front and it was a quick walk over. We sat on their outside patio but I was surprised to learn they didn't offer happy hour out there? It was such a beautiful day it was a shame to sit inside! Regardless, the food was delicious. The fig toast and fig pizza was amazing, highly recommended. Additionally our server was very nice and quite attentive. I'd recommend a visit but if you want happy hour remember to sit at the bar!
