Dr. A. Neil Weiss is owner and founder of The Manetto Hill Animal Hospital and Paw Seasons Hotel & Day Spa. A local graduate of Syosset High School, Dr. Weiss found his way back to the 'old neighborhood' after his professional training. He is an alumni of Colgate University with a degree in Biology.
The mission of Paw Season's Hotel & Day Spa is to provide a comfortable, safe, fun, educational and social environment for our canine companions with the comforts of knowing that there is a medical team on the premises if any situation with your pet's health arises. At the Paw Season's Hotel, your dog will enjoy free play in our indoor and outdoor yards, yummy treats, and lots of TLC in a safe, secure, fun environment.

We were turned away for being 12 minutes late to an appointment. At the end of the day, regardless of the reason, I understand we are responsible for our tardiness, but being turned away seemed a little drastic. This be, however, is not why I am leaving a review. How the manager addressed this situation is. The person who called was very, very rude to my fiancé over the phone and even went as far as hanging up on her. We pleaded to be seen as we were just down the block on the way there, but were told to reschedule. When she asked when we could reschedule, she was hung up on. This would have been

The service here has declined in recent years. Dr. Weiss is great but the front desk and medical assistant staff are unreasonable and not accommodating to basic needs of the pets. They gave me a problem purchasing flea and tick preventative medications and would not let me buy them for my pets. I had to escalate the matter to several different people in the office who were dismissive of my concerns. It is unfortunate that this practice has declined so severely since Dr. Weiss seems to care so much about the well-being of the pets he cares for. I will be taking my business elsewhere after many years

This is by far is the best place to take your pet. Very loving staff and very attentive. Dr. Shevell is a wonderful doctor and is very kind. A truly wonderful experience. The grooming experience was just as wonderful for my cat with some bad matting issues. Thank you to all that work there.

We just recently started seeing Dr. Lanzot and he is hands down the best vet we’ve ever worked with. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he took the time to explain his exam and findings. He didn’t try to push extra testing or unnecessary medication. He just truly cares about our dog Nash and I will continue recommending him to all our friends and family. I’m so happy we found him...and he’s easy on the eyes too 😌 You will not be disappointed!!
