Excellent bike shop, mark took great care of me from beginning to end. He knows all you can think off about bikes , above all I Love his approached about riding safely and keeping your eyes on the road, not many places like this tell you that and care about your safety. Thank you for building my dream bike. I hope to continue coming here often in the future, my only regret was not visiting them sooner.

I normally do not write reviews, but Westwood Cycle customer service warranted a review. I brought my mountain bike for a tune up, even during peak season everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about bikes. When I picked up by bike I spoke with Kevin, he talked me through all the work was done, itemized each piece that required work. I could not be happier and will definitely come back for further tune ups and hopefully and upgrade in a bike! Thank you

Traveled a bit for this place but it was worth it. Was looking for a specific road bike and it was getting hard to find close to home. I mostly interacted with Dean who helped me on the phone a few days before I came in to pick up my bicycle. Dean was great in person as well. I would definitely recommend this shop.

My wife brought two older trek bikes into the shop to ask about repair. No one offered to help her load the bikes in or out of her trunk even when they saw her struggling. They also were not accepting drop offs after she carried the two bikes there so she then had to reload both bikes herself. Yes they were busy and she probably should have called first, but certainly not top notch customer service which is disappointing since we like to support our local businesses in Westwood.

Every time I go to this shop, I leave feeling defeated. Nobody wants to help you. I asked one of the guys that works there what kind of bike I was looking at to which he condescendingly answers, "that's a graaaavel bike". Dude, just because I'm a woman, doesn't mean I don't know anything about bikes.
Against my better judgement, I bring my old road bike over there to get tuned up. I ask them to change my tires and bar tape and ask them if they can make my bike clean and safe to ride again. I know that covid delays bike repairs so a month later I didn't receive

Awesome shop. Awesome staff. Awesome service.
They're professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
What I liked most about this place is how comfortable they make you feel leaving your bike with them.
You feel like the bikes in good hands.
They also don't rush you. Rather, they answer your questions and listen.

Just a heads up before you waste your time here, they don't let you test ride their bikes, because they don't want the wheels to get dirty And it's not like I came here on a rainy day...
I came in here ready & exited to buy a new bicycle and after they showed me one which seems pretty awesome, I wasn't allowed to test ride it. I visit bike shops all the time and always test ride. I've never heard of such a thing. I'm supposed to buy a $600+ bicycle without seeing if I like how it rides first ? And they told me to read reviews on the internet and buy the

I came here with my son's new bike that we put together. We just wanted help with the hand brakes. They said they were so busy it would take about 4 to 5 days and that the bike needed servicing. The cost would be $39.99 which was almost half the price of bike. I ended up going to Park Ridge, they took it the same day, and charged me $10. Please be careful.

Just purchased 2 road tires here, both identical. One was factory marked and labeled "Westwood Cycle $40.00" and the other package looked like it was price labeled by a grocery store clerk "$44.99".
Rather than giving me both for $40, or one for $40 and the other for $44.99 as they were labeled, the great guys they are explained that the one label must have fallen off, and charge me $44.99 for each.
It's not the money but the principle, and these muppets that run this store just don't get it.

I took my city friend here to purchase her first road bike - a 2016 Liv Avail from Giant. The service from beginning to end can be best described as efficient and courteous. Clark gave my friend a fair evaluation of her cycling abilities and goals, and sent her off on an extended test ride. I believe Clark's final suggestion was exactly what she was looking for: quality (105 componentry) and excellent value (sub-$1200).
The whole process was so smooth that I essentially idled and watched Froomey takes Stage 8 of ToF on TV. I also had a chance to chat up the owner Mark and checked out his

I assume that this is the same business as Westwood Cycles? Same address anyway.
My 14 year old son and I went on a Sunday to buy a bike and we were lucky enough to get Mark to help us out. I think he is the owner, or that's how knowledgeable and committed he was to helping us find the right bike and the right size.
We got a great bike, in our price range (which is important to me) but I was especially impressed that he spoke to my son, looking him straight in the eyes, stressing the safe operation of the bike, and the importance of taking good care of it. He was very authentic and compelling
