I lived in Messina a couple of years ago and am now moving back. It was one of the most pleasant places I've ever lived. The grounds are beautiful and the staff (including maintenance folks) are top notch. DeeAnn in the leasing office has been amazing and gone well above and beyond our expectations. I recommend Messina to anyone looking for a great apartment, in a great area.

I am very excited to move into the Messina! Shelby (my leasing consultant) was super nice and very helpful. She answers her emails and phone calls very quickly! She sent me videos and pictures of the apartments and filled me in on all of the amenities! She is also very personable and makes sure you get the best place for you and your needs! 10/10 would recommend!

Having just retired and moving into an apartment for the first time in 20 years, I was a bit anxious and apprehensive. However our leasing agent, Shelby, immediately put me and my wife at ease. My boyfriend and I recently moved in about a month ago and have been more than please with the amenities, living space, friendly community, and the Messina staff. Especially Shelby Teufel. I’ve been living in Messina for almost 2 years. It’s great overall, maintenance is super responsive, the apartment itself is beautiful and spacious. I haven’t had any issues living here. My only problem is the parking. As a resident, it’s not fair when you come home late to absolutely no parking within the complex forcing you to park outside the complex and walk. Being a young pregnant woman and walking alone at night is not comforting and dangerous especially when you pay so much to live here. I don’t see towing enforced for those who don’t live in the complex but park overnight like

She went way ABOVE and BEYOND in finding our perfect apartment. We recently moved from Pennsylvania to New Smyrna Beach, and after looking at many apartments rented an apartment at Messina by the Lake. Nothing we looked at compared to this property. The apartments are BEAUTIFUL, the pool area is as gorgeous as any resort I've ever been to, and the amenities are endless. The staff has been incredibly friendly… and helpful from day one! We absolutely LOVE IT HERE! We've met great residents and are making so many new friends. Management is very hands on and always available. I recommend this place highly to anyone looking in this area!
