Ocean Oaks Apartments

These are advertised as “non-smoking” apartments, and in the lease we are encouraged to notify them of anyone smoking within 10 feet of the building. We have someone smoking in the apartment below us and now all of our things smell of cigarettes. We have asked to be let out of our lease due to asthma, but when the apartment manager came to smell our apartment she “couldn’t smell it.” There has been nothing further done.
Now we have an ant issue. I notified them on a voicemail that was never returned 2 weeks ago, a second voicemail a week later, and then I called the emergency maintenance

This place promised and tried to charge us washer and dryer fees without actually having washer or dryer in the unit. The tub had a huge hole in the bottom of it and they just painted over it. We had to replace our shower rod because the one they screwed to the wall fell on us. The “brand new” dishwasher doesn’t work. We had to put our own locks on the bedroom window because they don’t lock. Maintenance and their noisy band first thing in the morning is definitely welcoming. This place is amazing so peaceful and the management is excellent anytime you need something they are there you will love 💘 it here very clean and everything was remodeled when I moved in I love it

Wish we would of read more reviews before signing a lease with this company. Seems to be under new management who does not know what they are doing. 1st issue, when we moved in we were told we would have washer and dryer hook ups but not a actual washer and dryer. To moving into the unit, it had an actual washer and dryer, with a added $40 to the rent. We asked them to come remove the appliances and to remove the fees. 3 months later the appliances have been removed but I still have to go to the office each month about washer and dryer fees being added onto my rent. 2nd issue, the air conditioning

I had a Service call here and noticed how polite and professional the staff was and the place is beautiful and I were looking this place this would be on the top of my list.

Ok so we didn't apply just yet. But this place is awesome. All the updates and the staff. I think her name is Rachel (if not i am so sorry i saw 3 places that day) Little secret: they are building a fire pit soon. So ill just stock them until they get close to finishing then...allow me to be your neighbor? Oh and definitely pet friendly. You can tell soon as you walk in the office.
