It consists of pimples that appear on the face, back and chest. About 80% of adolescents have some form of acne and about 5% of adults experience acne.

Mohs surgery is a specialized treatment for treating skin cancer. It was developed by Dr. Frederic Mohs; it removes the tumor with continuous microscopic control. Not all tumors grow as perfect spheres. The cure rate with Mohs surgery is near 99% for most types of skin cancer. Although you can see a tumor on the skin, what you don't see is what is around and under the tumor, which are often more cancerous cells.
Moles are brown or black growths, usually round or oval, that can appear anywhere on the skin. They can be rough or smooth, flat or raised, single or in multiples. They occur when cells that are responsible for skin pigmentation, known as melanocytes, grow in clusters instead of being spread out across the skin.

The service was okay but nothing special. I would say that i prefer my previous dermatologist but that did not lead to this review. Their billing department will not stop harassing us. They just sent a certified letter that i had to go to the post office to pick up threatening collections and that is is 120+ days past due. This bill was paid in Dec 2019 and they still have not straitened this out and will not stop with the non stop intimidation and threatening. I cannot wait for them to finally go to collections so that i can just sue them and finally be done with this. They say 120+ days but this

All staff were very efficient and caring. Treatment plan was very reasonable and hopefully will address the roseacea issue that prompted my visit. It was very comforting to see that all infection control measures were being observed because I am compromised. I appreciate all that was done to protect me.

Booked an appointment with Dr. Dupree to consult about acne prescription. Arrived 12 minutes late for the appointment due to unforeseen traffic. Receptionist would not allow me to meet with doctor and cancelled my appointment.
I had already met with Dr. Dupree twice already, had blood work done and was cleared for the prescription. Why it was necessary for a third appointment? Then, to have it cancelled, was unprofessional.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dupree!! Nobody loves going to the doctor but Dr Dupree is one of those doctors that puts you at ease and makes the experience wonderful. She took true time with me even when I was asking a lot of questions about things other than what I came in for. She was attentive and never felt rushed or bothered, completely happy to answer any silly question I had. I'm so grateful for a wonderful doctor and a peaceful experience that will ensure I continue taking care of my skin :). Dr. David Thomas could not have been more careful, kind or informative during my annual visit. He did not make me feel rushed at all, rather he was very attentive and comprehensive in answering all of my questions. He did not try to push any unnecessary products on me, he instead guided me towards inexpensive, proven products that I could pick up at my local pharmacy. Great experience!

Incredible experience at North County Dermatology Center. Dr. Margaret Dupree was kind, professional, knowledgeable and skilled. She helped me with all of my concerns and questions. The cost was very low compared to other Dermatologists as well. All of the staff was friendly. I wish I didn't have to move away from San Diego because N.C Dermatology Center would be my dermatologist for life.

Dr Burrows gets a five star review on all fronts. From the moment my appointment was made, everything ran like clockwork. When I arrived there was no waiting and imagine this, I actually was actually treated by the doctor, not a nurse practitioner. Rare these days. Dr Burrows was a joy. He was calm, conversational and made the experience overall enjoyable. His work was impeccable and all healed quickly. In just a couple weeks you can hardly see a mark. The office was great, the doctor was great. I'll definitely be back for regular checks. North County Dermatology has clearly earned my trust.

This was my first visit. Prior to my visit I was reminded of the appointment via text which was very convenient. It gave me the time, and date, and the ability to opt out. That made me feel welcome and was very convenient. The receptionist, insurance manager, and attending nurse were very professional, accommodating, and warm. I waited less than 10 minutes before I was escorted to the back. Dr. Dupree has excellent bed side manner and it was obvious that she wanted to hear my concerns and solve my issue. I am new to the area I looked on Yelp I saw the office and doctors got high reviews so I scheduled an appointment. I got in fairly quickly, they were on time, and pleasant. I had a wonderful experience. I loved Dr. Dupree she was knowledgeable and I never felt rushed. Would highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a good dermatologist.
