Services
A: We are within walking distance of grocery stores, gift and clothing shops, gas stations and restaurants. A: We do not have beach toys/equipment. However, you can rent all types of equipment at local shops within walking distance of Punahoa Beach Resort. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and small coolers at no charge.

So Im sorry to have to write this message but my husband and I are extremely dissatisfied with this stay. We have lived here for almost 2 years and during this time we have stayed at A LOT of hotels or bed and breakfasts all the way from Wailea to Lahaina. We've done expensive places that were 650 a night or cheap ones that were 95 a night and Ive never wrote a bad review ever. However this time I do feel the need to bring some things up. First off, after we checked in and cleaning crew said they were done, we began unpacking when Deb (the owner) walked right into the condo unannounced and apologized

In 2017, my wife and I visited Maui for the first time and chose Punahoa for lodging. We loved it so much that we brought our children back in 2018. When I go back to Maui again in the future, I expect to stay at Punahoa. Relative to "hotels", Punahoa is mixed with residents, which gives it a low-key, local feel.

Beautiful property, directly on the ocean, in South Kehei. This is a small building with approximately 13 one and two bedroom apartments, some of which are for rent and some of which are occupied year-round by the owners. There is a knowledgeable property manager on site that will take care of your day to day needs and can answer many questions about the area. Coin operated laundry facilities are available and several beaches are steps away. Amenities such as beach chairs, snorkel equipment, clothing irons, and hair dryers vary by owner. Rent is very reasonable for the area.

Cockroach infested - do not book! Terrible experience. Multiple cockroaches throughout the apartment. They crawled into my food and were in the kitchen and hallway. Called manager about the situation and he stated he knew about the roaches and said he would refund me but did not. I'm now in process of disputing. I moved out immediately after one night. Really disgusting and poor service with unapologetic manager. A huge headache.
