Really good coffee, crepes, and sandwiches! However, their service and ordering could use some work. I didn't mind waiting the 30 min it took to get my food, but it was very confusing knowing whether or not the food they called was yours. They don't take names or give you a number, they just call out the dish/drink you order and then you play a guessing game as to whether or not it's yours or someone else's. In the 30 min we sat there, there were around 3-4 people that had their orders taken by someone else or made incorrectly. They also had soft spoken voices so if you were sitting further away

This is a five star establishment. I’ve recently become a regular going several times a week. Until today I loved this place. The two servers today- both girls one with bleached bangs and one with glasses were very inconsiderate. The several times I’ve come the employees are very respectful of the people studying/reading here. These girls were incredibly loud and completely distracting. Even the person sitting next to me said “I have to leave I can’t concentrate with them” And both girls were very rude not one smile or greeting. And neither girls were wearing masks. Very unprofessional

Fun nostalgic inspired café, a great spot to hang out and play board games with friends or do homework with roommates. with lite options for a quick bite, or meals for an afternoon study session with friends, you're going to find everything here from coffee and muffins to soup and sandwich. lgbtq supportive with vegan friendly dishes as well, everyone is sure to love the food and downtown vibe offered here.
i usually get their signature "Van Halen" coffee when i go, which is a medium brew with a blend between vanilla, hazelnut, and Carmel flavoring, resulting in a delicious 'macchiato' type drink

This poor cafe has gone terribly down hill. I am not sure if they have new management but the employees need better training. They aren't nice, they aren't knowledgeable and they don't seem to be trying to make Nostalgia a good atmosphere. I finally get the name, I have a lot of nostalgia about this place but I won't be returning.

Nice relaxing place! Has some latin vibes going on with acoustic guitar music playing in the background. There was only 1 barista in the morning and so the wait was about 30 minutes to get our coffee and breakfast. All good as he was very polite and friendly.
We got the 3 vegan empanadas, the vegan Mac and cheese, the vegan banana bread, the Van Halen (hazelnut and vanilla latte) and an oatmilk latte.
Empanadas: 2/5
Banana bread: 5/5
Mac and cheese: 3/5
Van Halen latte: 3/5
Oatmilk latte: 2/5
The place has a lot of space to sit at and a few books and pantings for sale.

My son wanted to come here for his birthday breakfast. We are visiting from Vegas and this place does not disappoint. I would tell anyone to stop by here if you are in town. The decor is great for the atmosphere they created. The staff is friendly and funny. They heard his was my son birthday and they gave him a free muffin. I had the egg bagel and it tasted good. It tasted fresh and put together well. Some places usually have too much of one thing but everything here is balanced. There wasn't much talking cause everybody was busy enjoying their meals.

Haven't been here for a hot minute but am glad to hear that they have been able to keep their doors open and lights on per post COVID shell, the demise of all small businesses everywhere and anywhere.
They have vegan desserts that are order-able here, not sure if they offer gluten free or not.
That may or may not be why I haven't tried their baked goods.
Can't remember if they buy them locally or make them.
Either way a little hidden, but worth it when you find it!

Here is what you do: wake up early on a Sunday and go downtown SLC to this little cafe! You won’t be disappointed. I’m obsessed with their Nutella crepes! Their drinks are always delicious too. I’ve tried their empanadas before and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of seating
Areas inside perfect for meetings or just coming here and studying!

Good Chai here and many other drinks. They come in mugs so there is no take out. Lots of tables to accommodate how busy it is, but drinks come out relatively quickly. Parking is hard to find but I usually park behind the Cafe. Private bathrooms are available, just ask for the key. Many love this place, so I would recommend it.

I wanted to love this place.
We went for brunch and got a few things.
Service was great, employees were nice, and we got out food super fast. Sadly, those are the only nice things I can say.
Food was very weak. The vegan Mac n cheese was very dry and lacked flavor. The traditional crepe was cold and soggy and the chocolate sauce looked watered down. The bagel was unimpressive, not a lot of flavor. We got a mocha that wasn't sweet at all and an overpriced tea that wasn't even sweetened.
Maybe I'd go back if there's nothing else to eat. But I wouldn't say this place is

Nice coffee shop with a strong coffee shop vibe. My wife and I were just wandering around when we found it and decided to grab a bite for breakfast. We each ordered a drink and food.
I ordered an iced coffee and a breakfast crepe. The crepe was good, but lacked a lot of flavor. I don't remember the specific one I ordered off the menu, but it had eggs, cheese, bacon, and what I think was supposed to be salsa, but seemed more to just be small tomatoes cut up. The eggs were bland and the bacon was a bit chewy. Hard to mess up iced coffee though!
My wife got a fruit parfait and the "Violet

I just had the best crepe ever! I ordered the strawberry crepe a s a chia latte. What a great little coffee shop. The only down side was the 10 homeless people outside of the establishment. I noticed across the street was a food bank so there is the attraction. I'm from out of time so that was alarming to see the loitering. I'm assuming this isn't a normal sight throughout the day. Despite that the place is a must stop don't let the outside fool you. I'm glad I took the chance. Hipster feel.

A fabulous cafe to visit in salt lake metropolis. Despite the fact that it isn't always extraordinarily centrally positioned it truly is near enough to be at the center of salt lake city downtown area, for a handy drop-in, when in the vicinity. It's far first-class and huge inner, with masses of seating and loaded with the artwork. There are vegan options to choose from and the espresso was very exciting. Team of workers is notable pleasant, and site visitors are gently engrossed with their work and each different. There is certainly a restroom, which is usually a plus for wandering thinkers like
