Absolutely delicious. I'm from Bosnia and although i only had ćevapi, i would say this was spot on delicious. The ćevap was good size, plumb and succulent, the bread delicious. If i was gonna nitpick anything, i would say the onions could had been sliced a bit smaller. I did see few other dishes that were delivered to tables around me, and i would say they looked great. I would gladly come back again when in town. Great job!

My husband and I spend a fair amount of time in Slovenija and love the delicious Bosnian/Balkan cuisine served in many restaurants there. We were so excited to find Cafe On Main. This restaurant is authentic. It's like traveling back there without leaving SLC. Everything we have ordered has been delicious and just the way we experience when in that region of the world. I don't know where he sources his kajmak, but I'm so happy to have found it. If you like Balkan cuisine, this is your spot!

I cannot say enough about this place, it is such a small, warm, and welcoming cafe. Their Cheese Pita is to die for, and it just melts in your mouth. It has such a unique taste and texture, I have never had anything like it. It has definately become one of my favorite foods. Their chicken noodle soup warms you up wonderfully on a bitter winter day. The noodles are perfectly cooked and not mushy, and there is REAL chicken!! I cant wait to come back

Lunch with my Daughter. We both ordered the Greek salad with chicken, it was very fresh and delicious, definitely 5 star.
Service was okay, not great, a bit of a language barrier, and not once did she check on us to see if our meals were okay.
Small cafe, sort of run down.
Parking is very limited.
I’d go again to try other menu items, all made to order, with a lot of pride!

I've driven by here a thousand times and finally was able to eat here today.
First off there is no parking. Well that's not true, there are four spots. There is also a small shared parking lot.
Walking into the restaurant you notice the small seating area. You can sit anywhere you want, if there is a seat available. It was pretty busy, a lot of guys were watching the soccer game on the big screen TV.
Lots of main dishes to choose from, they all looked good. (Pictures of menu items are on a rotating screen)
I just got the special. It came out fairly quickly, piping hot. Generous serving

Amazing! Not only was the owner kind & helpful, but from Bosnia too. The restaurant was full of customers from all over the Mediterranean. Legit Balkan Penisula food. I ordered the small Cevapi with Ajvar & it was plenty of food. So fresh! I tasted my friend's rice, mushroom sauce & cheese pita. They were all good too.
My entire meal was $6.25! Wow! Real food.

Small Balkan restaurant serving fairly authentic dishes. I've been multiple times over the years and usually go for the sudzukice (sausages), but their schniztel and Dolma are also pretty good. I'm no expert on food from this area, but the flavor is nevertheless really good.
Some of the dishes are somewhat "Americanized" being served with french fries, though I don't think that detracts from the flavor of the main part of the dish. The menu has various Balkan and Bosnian dishes, as well as some Ameircan ones (Hamburger). Perhaps the most glaring issue for some may be the

For authentic Balkan food, this is where you want to go and do not be surprised by the many languages spoken here. It is appreciated by the local ethnic population as much as everyone else. While easy to overlook, a tiny building with only 9 tables, it is the perfect mom-and-pop restaurant. The food is delicious and makes me want to travel to the "old country". I highly recommend the Dolma, stuffed peppers. Be aware, it fills you faster than the small plate appears. And there is nothing small about the flavor or the delicate balance of spices. A nice touch is the nice slices of home baked bread

Not bad. I probably need to explore the menu a bit more. I have no idea how to pronounce or spell what I ordered but it was basically a beef patty in a delicious pita bread. The seasoning was great.
I was the only person in the place speaking English. I have idea what the other language was. But it felt pretty authentic. They don't rush you out. You have to ask to be let out. Very casual. Very nice people.
I will be back to be more adventurous.

Balkan cuisine. You know, that sort of umbrella term that covers the Serbs and Turks and Romanians and Hungarians and pretty much everyone else in that region. I'm hardly an expert, but Cafe On Main bills itself as a Balkan joint, and I saw lots of Balkan-y dishes there.
