Completely terrible. I usually get my eyebrows threaded at the Unique Brows kiosk on the upper floor of the mall, but it looked like they had closed. I don't know if they closed permanently because of the pandemic or if they would be back, HOWEVER there were multiple signs on the kiosk saying to go to Beautiful U downstairs for eyebrow threading. I assumed this meant the the Unique Brows threaders had gone down to Beautiful U and were operating out of there. I was wrong! Beautiful U was just advertising for themselves on the closed kiosk of their competitors.

The tech did a horrible job. She went super slow and I could feel her messing up my eyebrows. She took off way too much on one side. And didn't even clean them up all the way. I should have done a better job checking in the mirror when she showed me. She spent all that time on what? I have scratches under my eyebrow from her threading. Worst service by far. Would not recommend. I would love to receive my money back.

Eyebrow wax makes me break out so I switched to threading a few years ago and am so happy with my choice! I have gotten my eyebrows threaded here numerous times over the past few years and am always very happy with the results. I have had them done by many different people and always love the way they look! Their prices are great and they always have plenty of staff, I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes when I walk in. Lake forest mall has a very bad reputation but this salon is close to a main entrance and is always very clean.

I went to get eye-lash extensions today and I had a horrible experience. The young lady that installed the lashes had no idea what she was doing. The lashes were stuck together & full of glue.
She removed the lashes & accidentally cut my lashes off which left a whole on the eye lid. The person was very apologetic but apologizing will not replace my eyelash.
If you do not know what you’re doing do not act as if you do. I spoke with the manager and she was no help. They recommended that I return Saturday and allow another person to install the lashes. I asked them so what am I to do about my

Iffath is the BEST. She does an awesome job. 5 stars for her.
Took two stars off because, once when Iffath wasn't around and since I was in a rush, I got my eyebrows done by another beautician(Jayashree). She totally messed it and even left a gap. I had to wait for my brows to grow completely and finally got it fixed(By Iffath again).
A good place as long as Iffath is your beautician.

DON'T GO TO BEAUTIFUL U for treading or possibly any other service!!! I went for eyebrow treading which I have had done before, the technician over did my left eyebrow & left me looking patching on my left side!! She then said," I forgot to tell you your eyebrows are thin and that's how they ended up looking."
FYI I HAVE HAD THEM DONE BEFORE BY OTHER BUSINESSES AND NEVER HAVE THEY SCREWED THEM UP OR SAID MY EYEBROWS WERE TOO THIN!!!!!
I asked for a refund and it took over 30 minutes to get "authorization" and just so you all know it hasn't posted as a credit

I live by this mall. This place doesn't get full but service is terrible. No complaints on the quality of their threading. They can be a little rough sometimes but you went there to get hair removed so of course I'll take it. This is my 15th visit as I said I live around so I visit often. I've been turned away for lunch breaks and several times have sat down and not been asked a single question. I'm tired. I had a long day I have 10 minutes I wanted my brows done. I was told by the desk assistant who asked the manager in front me if they could do it. She asked in a different language so I can't

This review's for Usha! I used to go kind of regularly, but haven't been in the last year. The second I walk in she recognizes me and immediately has a big smile on her face greeting me and exclaiming how we haven't seen each other in a while. I've gotten lash extensions and eyebrow threading done by her and she's really great. She's gentle with the threading, and I have a very low tolerance for pain. She's patient and thorough with the lash extensions. She gives a really natural look and really listens to what you want.

I've gone here twice and have had 2 different people and they both have done an amazing job! The first time I went was right before my wedding and was super nervous because I had never gone and the lady that did my eyebrows did such a good job I was so glad I went. I went the 2nd time and had a different lady and I explained to her what I wanted and she did just that. I wish I knew their names but I'm the worst at remembering names. I would def recommend. The worse place for eyebrows. The owner complained because I wasn't satisfied with the way she threaded my eyebrows even though I was in her chair for less than 2 minutes. She argued with me because I her to fix my eyebrows so I can be happy with the service I am paying for. Save your money. These people are unprofessional and don't know how to thread eyebrows.

Usha is the absolute BEST at Beautiful U. Unfortunately you aren’t able to make an appointment at Beautiful U. However I recommend calling ahead to make sure she is working and WAIT for her when you arrive.
I have thick/long eyebrows and have never been disappointed when she does my eyebrows. Usha is so good I don’t need to look at the mirror to check my eyebrows afterwards. So serious! She is kind, funny and in my opinion an eyebrow guru. She told me she does hair and makeup and they are always look really nice.
I HIGHLY recommend Usha at Beautiful U for eyebrows!

If you want to get cleaned up (threading) go see Nida! She is amazing and she does quality work. She takes her time and pays attention. I have been a loyal customer for over a year now and she never disappoints. She always lets me know kindly what I need to do and then takes care of it! She's amazing and I love her!

Very disapointed. Been growing my eyebrow for a month to get them thicker. Go to this place because it was conviniently at the mall.
Asked the lady just for a clean up, keep it long and thick. What do i get.... the short and thin...straight with no arch shape....what!!!!
Dissapointed, how does she mess with my eyebrow like that... yes, i did pay, because whats done its done.... but I am full of regrets!!!

I am disappointed in how my eyebrows were threaded. I'm especially upset because of I told the lady just to clean up the edges and she ended up making my eyebrows thinner. You don't mess with eyebrows like that. You just don't. Now I have to wait for them to grow out so I can go to my regular place that doesn't make my eyebrows look thin.
I expressed my disappointment and she just dismissed it. I was pleasant too. Oh well. Go the extra miles to get it done right is my lesson.

Can't beat the price. The trolley drives right by the kiosk, so make sure you're not in the way!
It's also out in the open, so people can watch your threading occurring.
If they put a screen out, I would go all the time. The lady I usually go to is more expensive, but I'll pay more because it is in an enclosed space.

I went in to get my eyebrows done the other day, when I entered the store nobody was in there. So I told the lady behind the counter what I needed she told me to sit and wait. She continues to sit there on her phone eating. I should've known then to leave. Then after waiting for her to finish eating and browsing on her phone she was ready. Keep in mind the only reason I waited is because I needed my eyebrows done badly. So she does my eyebrows nothing spectacular. I thought to myself I waited for this? So I pay which it's $10, i did not tip because it was rude for her to make me wait like that

I was unable to located their kiosk, so made my way to their store on the first floor (near JCP) as my eyebrows were in desperate need of threading. There was no other customers in the store, so I got seated right away. The lady who threaded my brows had an odd way of threading. There were a few times where I could feel her almost grabbing my eyelashes (thank goodness she didn't!) and shook her hands up/down after every time she pulled my eyebrow hair out. A word of caution - if you're not good with pain and/or stinging sensations, eyebrow threading is not I repeat IS NOT for you. My face was smarting for a solid 15-20 minutes after I was done. The woman who did my brows (I never got her name) was nice enough, though she didn't quite listen to what I wanted. I don't like thin brows for myself, and holy hell are they thin! To be fair though, I did ask her to make them as equal as possible. But they're still thin and it makes me kinda

I was in desperate need of taming my brows, and I happened across this store. Figuring my existing brow shape was still pretty well defined by my preferred eyebrow tamer- I thought I would be ok going here to an unknown.
I have never had anyone thread my eyebrows that quickly. And when I looked in the mirror- I was not impressed. My brows basically look like 2 thin rainbows now...
Thankfully my brows grow like weeds- so this is far from devastating- but still- it's annoying.
