Marquita Chambers was born in the Washington, DC metro area and found her love of makeup after graduating high school. She then found herself in love with the beauty industry where she began working at beauty retailer, Sephora, to gain knowledge of skincare, luxury cosmetics lines and to experience working with clients one-on-one.
Marquita is a true artist and professional! She did my wedding makeup - as well as makeup for my maid of honor and my mom. Let me start by saying Marquita made me look fabulous for my bridal shower and wedding. I couldn’t be happier of the amazing natural look she did on my face. I sent her ideas, and she suggested a few ideas to help make the look POP! I was not disappointed at all. She asked about my skin care so she can use the proper makeup on my face so I wouldn’t be oily nor dry. She asked about how I like my eyebrows natural or dramatic. Runway shows are full of folks that require a special kind of niche'... Especially when it comes to makeup application. Let's just say some artists are blessed with the ability to whip out 5-10 back to back 30 minute or less looks and still create faces that LOOK photo ready. It definitely takes a special kind of artist and I must say Marquita is one of those talents. Her drive, passion and personality are awesome additions to the overall experience.
Although I've only worked with her during Baltimore Fashion Week, I am excited to work with her again in the near future.

Marquita did an amazing job with my wedding makeup. She stayed throughout the photo shoot for touch ups. She has a great spirit that is contagious. She was the perfect personality addition to our nervous wedding party and antsy flower girls. My makeup came out fantastic! My bridesmaids slayed! and the flower girls were so adorable.
