We recently moved into One Canal and so far everything has been perfect! All the common spaces are beautifully kept and clean, and the maintenance staff has been the best we've ever experienced in all the apartments we've lived in...they arrive promptly to fix any issue, or you can set a scheduled time for them to come that is most convenient for you. Not to mention that One Canal is in an awesome location and so close to so many cool spots! Would highly recommend One Canal apartments to anyone moving to Boston

Entirely unprofessional experience unfortunately. They scheduled a specific time and made sure I was there on time, only to make me wait 20 min. I was also told I could tour the unit I’m interested in, but when I drove there, they said I couldn’t see the unit. What.. is this place? I would never rent here, and reading the reviews, it seems renters have issues with the leasing office/management through and through. So glad I dodged a bullet.

Very bad handling of end of lease. The team does not respond to emails. They gave random fees that had no context and sent staff in to the apartment multiple times, without warning, before the end of the lease. The online resident portal is also terrible and does not accurately report amounts owed. Most of these reviews are also fake because they do a survey for a prize.

The front desk staff were amazing but management treats tenants with any issue like dirt.
I came home one day to a leak in my ceiling, only to find it was the bath water from the person upstairs coming down into my kitchen. Not one apology was issued.
Despite spending hours cleaning before moving out, they tried to charge a $150 cleaning fee to my security deposit. This is ILLEGAL in Massachusetts.

One Canal is amazing! It has all of the amenities of a luxury building at a fair price. The rooftop is arguably the best view of Boston, the gym has everything you need, grills on two different patios that are both amazing, and so much more. The convenience to the train is also incredibly convenient. You walk 30 seconds, and you're on the platform. The North End with some of Boston's best restaurants and pastry shops is across the street, the bustling West End with the best sports bars in down the street and Beacon Hill is a 5 minute walk. Wonderful community, I don’t have enough good things to say!! The building and facilities are very well managed and taken care of. The leasing staff is informative and very well organized. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive. The roof top pool and terrace is incredible. Probably one of the best roof tops in Boston!!!

While I have only lived in this community for just over a month, I have nothing but positive things to say! I came to One Canal from a poorly managed property that didn’t even follow their own rules outlined in the lease so I have been particularly critical when choosing a new community and critical of this community since moving in. Ashley with… the leasing team has been incredibly helpful and patient answering all questions during my tour and through my move in. Everyone on the concierge team is incredible as well. Residents that I’ve encountered have been nice and respectful

We’ve only lived at One Canal for one month but it has been absolutely lovely. The apartments are beautiful, the location superb, but I can’t say enough about the service team. The concierge and leasing teams are patient, kind, and go above and beyond in creating a welcoming, friendly, and exceptional living experience. It may only have been a month but we can’t imagine ever wanting to move!

The entire staff at One Canal is by far the most impressive I've seen. The concierges are friendly, helpful and engaging. The maintenance crew gets things done quickly and efficiently. The management is always… ready to answer questions and solve problems. It was especially nice to meet others in the building at the holiday party organized by the One Canal staff. Great idea to bring people together. What a great building!
