Seafood udon was what I had this time and it was excellent, it was perfectly mixed so that there wasn't one ingredient dominating the taste, the udon noodle was not too soggy so it was just right, service has gotten better since they are not as short staff compared to my prior visits, I will definitely come back for other dishes in the menu

Traveled from Washington State and couldn't be happier with this place. It was highly recommended from my boyfriend who used to live in Pleasanton and go here weekly. Mr. Kim was the nicest as us all the staff. We ate like kings and queens. I definitely would suggest the rolls, but the Korean Sashimi Salad was absolutely to die for. Splurge for good sake because it is with it!! Totally five stars!!

I leave this review as a Doordasher, and a warning to people planning on ordering Doordash or delivering for this location.
I was left waiting for 30 minutes to pick up the order after i arrived. about 5 minutes into waiting i noticed bags lined up behind the bar with Doordash tags on them. I asked them if my order was ready and told them who i was delivering for and gestured towards the bag, I was told they were not ready and left alone at the reception area. I asked two more times while waiting, noticing the same bags sitting behind the counter this whole time.

Came in for takeout order. I called in to place my order, was told it will take about 20 mins. When I show up, the restaurant was so dark with little lights on. There's customers and staffs inside. I waited at least 5 minutes before someone comes to me. Wait another 10 minutes to pack my order. Waiting period was beyond the given estimate time.
Lunch combo was plentiful. Teriyaki chicken, mixed temperature, 3 PCs California rolls, rice and salad all packed in one box. Pretty standard. It's about $10.

Sushi was very fresh, fairly priced, and delicious. I got the Viagara blast roll (lol... yes that's what it was called), and the Green Light roll. Wife got salmon delight, and the shrimp tornado.
The tempura is light and nicely done, and they didn't over bake my baked roll, which was a very different experience for me.
Service was very professional (slow because of covid). Manager was very nice.
Can't wait to come back!!

As a DoorDash dasher, when I arrived, there were three other dashers, one who got fed up and just left. There was dine in service and one waitress was going to the tables to take their dishes, however never NEVER acknowledged me and the others standing by the door!
I don't care what their food tastes like if they don't have the courtesy to say "hello" or some sushi restaurants say "hajimemashite" when someone enters. Nothing like that! When I called them out on the poor customer service, they were more argumentative than apologetic

Had the Chirashi Special (inc. salad, but no soup). The quality of the sashimi was excellent. However, the restaurant is severely short staffed. There was a line out the door on a Thursday at lunchtime, but only one waitress handling phone orders, take outs, and eat-ins (outdoor on the sidewalk). I had ordered pick up through DD, but still had to wait for almost 10 minutes while my completed order sat on the back counter; the waitress was busy on the phone taking an order.

The reviews on here have to be true! Bought lunch Togo on Monday morning July 5 through their website and it stated that I would receive it with soup, salad and rice. When I opened the bag in the store it only came with salad. I asked politely if I could get my rice and soup and the lady angrily said no it doesn't come with my order. She said "I'm not the owner don't ask me." On the doordash menu, online ordering platform, and their takeout menu it says it came with it. I showed her and she still tried to fight with me that it was only available if I had it dine in. Literally

The worse ever, horrible, unacceptable customer service we have ever experienced. I asked for water for everyone and server rudely said "I can only give you both water because I don't have enough in the back" I said ok thats fine, then I asked if she can bring me hot tea and said no. Ummm ok ... Then another server took the rest of the water order and said we no longer serve regular water and we will have to charge you for bottle water because it is not safe in the back. My family and I have been dining here for many years and have always been satisfied and happy with the quality of the foods and service we've received. We have missed dining in here after church with friends. We recently had ordered take out and have been impressed with that the quality of their food and quantity for price has remained almost the same granted it has been difficult since the pandemic started. What a turnaround! What happened to Meiji Sushi? We usually have good takeouts from this place. Unfortunately, tonight's takeout was terrible. My husband called in to order sushi and hot food to go. Person on the telephone told him 6:00 pm pickup. Ok. My husband arrived at 6:00 and the food wasn't ready until 6:30. When he came home, I opened the bag, and noticed that the hot food was under the sushi. I couldn't believe it. Fearing that the hot food would ruin the sushi, I immediately took it out of the bag. The sushi wasn't fresh. It was pretty awful. The unagi was not fresh

I called 20 minutes before closing without looking at their updated COVID hours. (I know I'm the worst!) The staff were very nice and accommodating and was able to make my order before closing (don't worry I tipped well for the inconvenience).
I ordered the Dragon Roll, a Golden California roll, a regular California Roll, and a couple orders of Salmon and Unagi Nigiri. They also included free edamame with our order, super sweet! The rolls were about average to me, nothing exceptional. The Salmon and Unagi Nigiri were sliced a bit differently than the usual Nigiri I
