It's on a Main Street so parking is kinda bad

Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about each bike

We purchased 2 bikes and my sons act like they got a new car. They love it so we love it!

Large bike shop able to do a lot but nickels and dimes you for everything. I went to get my chain replaced and brakes looked at and they charged 20 to replace the chain which takes 5 min but I'm fine with a minimum for service but then added 10 to loosen the brakes which took 30 seconds and didn't really fix my problem. I complained about it and they said that's what we charge. I wouldn't suggest going here for work there are plenty of other bike shops that charge reasonable prices for things.

The employees do not like their jobs here at this store. Turned me away because apparently no one respokes a bicycle rim. Eden Bicycles helped me out with no problem.

Otto was so professional. I bought a used bike and took it in to raise the handle bars. Otto set up the bike to fit me. The seat, handlebars, gears. He is incredibly knowledgeable about bicycles. I tried tipping him and he wouldn't even take it. I hope the owner knows how lucky he is to have Otto.

What happened to this place, older family that used to run it were good people. Whoever they gave the store too is a scammer. Had my cousin go in for a mountain bike to hit trails with me and my cousin being a new rider the guy sold him a road bike instead and told him it’s a trail bike. He must have been a used car salesman until he took over. These are your local Hayward buyers you treat like this and wonder why everyone in Hayward goes to Eden bikes in Castro valley. Good luck here

It can be busy. Installing a 3 piece crank, headset and chain (I supplied the parts) came to$170. Granted the work is good and they had to cut the neck of the fork for an old school bmx. Yet, I felt that I was imposing while trying to get some help on my proyect.

They seem a bit swamped but when they get to you they help you out.
On more than one occasion they have spent less than 2 minutes adjusting my bike making it noticeably better for no extra charge.

Came in and was greeted immediately very politely. I had some questions about my bike that they answered and explained. Purchased some tires and tubes. I plan to bring my 🚲 in to have it checked before my ride in a few weeks. Thanks again to the young man that helped me out. Great service us hard to come across!!!!

Very friendly and customer focused. They helped me select the best bike for adult daughter's Christmas present. They then had her come to adjust the bike to fit her. To top it off, they told the pros and cons of each helmet after asked her what type riding she planned

HORRIBLE experience do not come here the service was terrible. The employees were rude especially the asian guy. He could not answer simple questions would just circle around them, and only cared about selling me products not helping me with my bike. The whole time the asian employee spoke to us in a condescending tone and seemed irritated. Completely disappointed with the service save yourself the bad experience and go elsewhere!

Terrible customer service. Me and my husband went in to look for a few thing. The guy behind the counter didn't know anything about bikes. Every single answer to our questions were "I don't know" or "we don't have that". There was no urgency to even attempt to find out any answers. More importantly he seemed high out of his mind. He was really disoriented, definitely on something. It was insane that he was even working there. Why work at a bike shop if you don't know anything pertaining to bikes or even attempt to provide help? Be warned, find another shop

I have to say I am impressed by the quality of the workmanship I got here today. I was having an issue with my newer mt bike; it was not clicking into gear right and pedaling was not smooth. As you know I am do it yourselfer. I tried to fix it on my own but I didn't make it any better. I thought lets see if a pro's can make it better. I have always driven by this place and I like that when you text them; they would text you back! That is a huge plus.

So for the shop yes they are open special hours; see there site.
You have to wash your hands as soon as you get in. Not sure if that really

Glad to find a bike shop open during covid times ! They have a pretty good stock of specialized brand bikes. I booked the bike over phone with my details and arrived a couple of hours later to find the bike tuned and ready to go. I have been back twice to tune the bike and it has been a great experience, with the guys finding issues and fixing them effectively. 2 things to be prepared for when you arrive, there is a sink to wash hands before entering and approach the staff directly ( because they are usually talking behind the counter and don't greet you at arrival, well ! )

Great shopping experience. Sebastian (I think that's his name, I got his name from the receipt) took his time explaining the different bike styles and was very patient (specially with myself being new to the biking world). The store is taking strict and proactive measure to keep everyone safe, that does mean standing in line outside for some time, but its totally understandable. Sebastian was very attentive and helped my bother and I until we left the store. He was kind enough to help me mount our new bike mount. We'll be here again for sure!

As if it's not hard enough during Covid to find bike parts and services. Going into this place makes it 10 times harder. Starting off you walk into an uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling due to sales persons that are uneasy to speak to and unknowledgeable of product or services they provide. Getting to the back counter it gets even worse. You have to stand there for at least 5-10 minutes while nobody looks up at you, says anything or disregards your presence as they tap on the computer or makes as if they do not see you. Finally when someone decides to help you that person is rude and discourteous

Went to this place 3 times. First time with friend we were greeted by a very friendly young worker and he showed us many options to fix my friend's bike, also casually chit chatted with us. Given I had a good first impression I decided to go back about a month after I bought a used bike in private and needed a brake line. Still greeted by employees politely on 2nd time, one of them told me it would be better if I bring the bike to them to see how long of a line it will be needed, it was a reasonable request so I'm like ok and brought my bike there the next day, and this is where my experience

They have the best customer service! Kudos to Ben!!! He didn't rush us even though there was a lot of people in the store. Didn't pressure us to buy but educated us on what to look for in a road bike! We had the best experience and will def recommend this place. We are one happy customer! Thanks Ben!

I had a bike tuned here and not too happy with the service they never called me when it was done. And i tried to leave several messages to see if I should pick up the bike.

I finally went there and then when I asked the bike was just sitting there on the rack.

I don't even know if they did anything to be honest.

For all I know it was there for 2 weeks and they just gave it back to me as is. That's why they didn't call because they haven't done anything.

I ordered a few items online and had to pick them up in store. I'm glad the website advised that I come early because I noticed a long line when I drove by in the afternoon. They are taking COVID precautions. You have to wait outside and they will call you in via the radio. There is a sink just inside of the door. Everyone must wash their hands before coming in. It looks like they are running low on stock inside the store. The employees were all very nice. I had to come back to return the helmet I purchased because the fit wasn't right. I highly recommend visiting Cyclepath if you have ANY bike needs. I was on the hunt for a bmx bike for my sons 13th birthday and I started the search a little late not knowing Covid-19 had affected production and or shipping of bikes. I lucked out when I called Cyclepath in Hayward. They informed me that had just received a shipment of Subrosa Bmx bikes so I drove straight there! The service I received was top notch! Let me start by saying this place has went above and beyond to make you feel safe during this pandemic. They were only letting a certain amount of people in the store at a time, with

We went there and they are open during COVID. I appreciate the wash station by the entrance. They require all customers to wash hands prior to entering.
However, they didn't have much selection and worse, their customer service isn't great.
The person we talked to was not friendly, and in fact rude.
I'm not surprised to read the comments here on poor customer service.
I shall update my review if we return as they will be receiving new inventory.
There is street parking and a nearby parking space across the street.

Amazing buying experience! I am totally new the bike world, and I'm glad that I came here to learn about the different bike models and get advice on what style/size bike I should get. Everyone here is super helpful and knowledgeable. The owner, Ben, is great and takes the time to chat with customers and understand their needs. One of the main guys that helped me was Sebastian, who really helped me understand the importance of the size bike to get.

I couldn't be more happy with my purchase of my new Specialized bike! But I was even more satisfied with the service experience I received
