Robinson Wheel Works designed a perfectly-fitting bike that has taken me everywhere from dirt road touring to local crits, and taught me everything I know about bike fit. These folks know what they are doing. I wanted to get my bike ergonomically fitted to me. I stopped in one day and asked them about that service, and Chris really sounded like he really knew what he was talking about.

Riding on the Italian amateur circuit in his teens, wheel and spoke building and serving as senior mechanic for Team 7-11 in his twenties, Chris has been living and breathing bikes for as long as he can remember. He opened Robinson Wheel Works over 20 years ago and has been building bikes based on riders' needs, expectations and budget ever since.

I went into Robinson and asked the owner Chris if he could recommend an entry level mountain bike in the $1,500 range. He told me they do not sell low end bikes and I should go to a big box store and pick one up. Thank you, I will never go to your store again since I am not a high roller customer. I hope your expensive bikes will never sell and sit there collect dust.

Total pro, excellent workmanship, knowledge and ability to get me riding again. Chris Robinson recognized the deeper problems with my 8 broken spokes and rebuilt the wheel in less than a week. Given that during this pandemic, bike shops are slammed, he was able to make it happen, communicated courteously, and got me back to riding for a 7am planned ride. The reason that that 7am detail is important is because after a 10 hr+ day, Chris did me a huge favor to help me get my skewer and I’m grateful! Top class! I’ll be back for all bike problems. Thanks Chris!

I do not believe in bad reviews but this takes the cake. They kept my bike for 6 weeks; no repairs. I called Chris and he told me my bike was ready it wasn't. He told me he ordered a part that would arrive in a week. I called 3 weeks later he told me to find a new shop. ???? I have no idea why these guys are such bad people. But I do know how to keep looking for a better mechanic. These guys do great work but they are not accountable, at all.

Superior service, knowledge, & experience. Chris and his tech. are top notch professional bike builders. I turned to Chris for help completing a recent build.
The tune Chris performed on my bike was absolutely perfect. Bike is solid and shifts like butter even after a year and a half of moderate riding. Unfortunately, I moved away from the area, but I will gladly make the trip back to RWW when the need arises.

This shop has tremendous knowledge and passion for biking. They are also great at explaining things to their customers in an easy to understand way.
I went in thinking I needed a new bottom bracket but instead he managed to overhaul it, saving me at least $100. That, along with some other tune ups made my bike feel almost new! I'll certainly continue to take my business to this shop!
