My name is Tim Cortez and I'm the proprietor of Superfly Wheels bike shop in Downtown Pleasanton. My wife and I moved to the Meadows in 2005 and found it be the perfect place to start our family. Around that time I was introduced to mountain biking and with the Ridge in our own backyard, it was love at first ride.

I got my Intense bike in Dec, Ryan was very helpful. I asked for tubeless conversion and swapped out tire to my other bike. This shop by far had the most reasonable price for bike and service. Turn around time is fast also considering CoVid. I will sure come back for regular bike service. I am proud to able to support Pleasanton downtown small business.

I'm a bike fanatic, so I know the difference between a poor, in between, and great bike shop -- and this is a great bike shop. It also now happens to be Pleasanton's only independent and local bike shop, so I'm very happy to start sending all my business here. They blew me away the last couple times I've visited, giving advice or tips that weren't in their short term interest, but we're definitely all about solving my problem in the most economical way. I also like that they don't talk down to people who are new to cycling.

After coming in here for a bike repair diagnostic, I have come to the conclusion that out of all the bike repair shops I've been to, this one in particular has one of the worst customer services. I came in with my bike knowing that there was something wrong with high hopes of getting a detailed diagnosis of the central problem of my bike, however I was truly mistaken. These workers make it hard to even get a good explanation without them hinting at me paying them to check my bike out. And worst of all, they were willing to charge me for simply taking off a tire so I could show them the problem

Great service! The salesperson was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They seem focused on mountain bikes but had a decent selection of hybrids and road bikes, so I was able to track down what I wanted. They offer a lot of perks like free tuneups for purchased bikes, and have a decent inventory of accessories as well. Buy local, it's worth it!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, always trying their best to make their customers happy. And if they do make a mistake (like selling you the wrong size brake pad) they try to correct it w/o hassle.
They have an excellent inventory of bikes and parts - including lots of high-end items, like their Intense & Norco MTB fleet. Also a nice selection of e-bikes. Conveniently located downtown Pleasanton - if you stop by on a Saturday make sure to park a block away (for example on Peters Ave, between Division St & Rose Ave) since downtown Pleasanton is typically closed for traffic on weekends

Shopping for an e-bike and discovered Superfly Wheels an authorized Aventon dealer. Had narrowed down my search to 2 Aventon e-bikes they had in stock but has to put together. Mike the store manager was very helpful and by next day both bikes were ready to go and I was encouraged to try them both out before deciding. I left with a new Aventon e-bike and could not be happier with my experience at Superfly Wheels. They have a very good inventory of new bikes, take trade -ins and have great customer service. I came here to buy an inner tube for my daughter's bike that had a flat. I brought in the tire to show them, but knew they didn't have time to fix the flat for me (I didn't have an appointment; I just dropped in). The employee (I forgot her name, but she was THE nicest person!) felt bad that I needed to change the tire myself, after she heard that I had no clue how to do it, so she not only changed the tire for me right there and then, but she also did it in front of me so she could teach me how to do it!

Keep up the amazing customer service guys! Mike and the rest of the SF gang are super nice and helpful. We came in window shopping for some hybrid style bikes for my GF and I to enjoy. We cruise the paved bikes paths in Pleasanton and Livermore and not too much dirt stuff. Staff didn't try to over sell us $4-5k full suspension mtn bikes or carbon road bikes like most other shops. He gave us suggestions based on our height and recreation type of activities. We loved that and talked more about warranties and tune-ups post sale.

The guys at Superfly live up to their name. They are "superfly" with their attentive customer service, positive energy, and good prices! Have only been here once but had an issue with my bike tire being over-inflated which somehow through off the bike chain. I forget the gentleman's name who helped me but he quickly realized what the issue was and fixed it immediately. Would not take any money for the quick fix. At the time I was stressed and thought something was seriously wrong so this was the best possible outcome. Will definitely return and give this establishment when I have the need. Great customer service.

Bought an Intense mountain bike from these guys, and had a terrific experience. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. They tuned the bike for me specifically and gave me some great tips. And the staff takes their time and answers questions, they don't get annoyed and give thorough answers. I'd highly recommend this shop if you're in the market for a new bike.

The people at Superfly wheels are all very friendly and honest. I've brought in several bikes and other friends bikes in here for repairs and they are always very honest with the repair and pricing. They don't try to price gouge you for more money or anything. Turn around time is always great, even when there was a huge demand for bikes and repairs.
I just brought another bike to them today and got the same experience as I did several months ago. Highly recommend Superfly wheels for your bike needs!

I've been in the market for a new road bike for about month. Since then, I have been riding my 20 year old Trek 7700 which I liked but I knew it was time to move on. I decided to ride all the way from the ease side of Livermore (by the lab) to Superfly Wheels. I was greeted by two gentleman, one being the owner, and both took turns assisting me. They brought 3 bikes outside for me to review, and I really liked the Giant Contend AR 3 as an entry level road bike. They also took out 2 24" girls bikes as I was looking to upgrade my daughter's bike. Unfortunately
