Dr. P. Michael Pham completed his undergraduate degree in Genetics at the University of Western Ontario and his doctorate in optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He trained at the Veterans Affairs' medical centers in Huntington, WV and Gainesville, FL. His professional practice is focused on primary eye care and contact lenses.
We provide non-surgical eye care for adults and children 8 years and older, including contact lens, treatment of dry eye and ocular surface disease, glaucoma and cataract care, laser vision correction consultation, on site repair of eyeglasses and full service optical. Our office is a Medicare participating provider.
An e-mail confirmation and a phone call from us will help you remember the date. Need to cancel? Your courtesy will allow us adequate time to schedule other patients who need access to care. There is a $25 charge for no-show or appointments that are not canceled in a timely manner. Dr. Pham and his staff are wonderful! I have been seeing Dr. Pham for many years and would trust my eyesight to no one else. He is very thorough and takes his time with his exam. He always answers questions and never makes you feel rushed. His optician is a sweetheart and works with you on getting frames that make you look great! His front desk girl has been with him since his days at Costco and she is funny and very accommodating! Don't think twice about making an appointment with this office you will absolutely love it! The drive is nice also. I live in Cape Coral and drive out to the island

One of the best/least stressful eye exams I've ever had. Was having vision trouble and headaches, and Dr. Pham spotted the problem right away. He was very scientific/mathematical about the exam and what he was looking for, explaining his method as he went. And his team of professionals are great. Highly recommend.

I am a new visitor to Sanibel, and on my fourth days on the Island I mistakenly sat on my glasses and broke off one of the ear. pieces at the hinge. I had seen this establishment driving along Periwinkle Way and went there this morning with the broken glasses. I received a very warm welcome and a can-do attitude on the part of the woman who greeted me. I left the glasses and within three hours they had been repaired with a new ear piece and new hinge. This place is terrific! Highly recommended.

Dr. Pham and his staff did a great job taking care of me and a serious eye problem I had due to a shift in a cataract lens shift and some loss of sight problems. I was on vacation from Texas and staying on Captiva Island. The tests he gave were right on target. I ended up going to a retina specialist at my home in Dallas who confirmed Dr. Pham's diagnosis and treatment. You all are really fortunate to have Dr. Pham and his excellent staff there in Sanibel.

My husband, adult kids I have been going to Dr Pham for 15 years. We are truly fortunate to have him in our area.
He is above and beyond in competence and will send you to the BEST specialists if you need cataract, lasik, floaters, etc.
Doctors in the Ft Myers / Naples area go to Dr Pham for their eye exams. He’s that good.
