Every batch of Maia takes longer to make, but by slowing down the process, we create a yogurt that needs far less sugar to be delicious. We are deeply grateful to the cows who bring the best milk into the production of Maia. We work with family farms because their cows are treated humanely and are 100% grass-fed.

Maia founder, Hamilton Colwell, understood the value of simplicity when creating the best quality yogurt by keeping the recipe honest and simple. We make Maia taste homemade. Hamilton first created Maia in his small apartment kitchen in Uptown Manhattan, simply utilizing a double boiler, a heating pad, a beach towel, and basic utensils.

One thing you can do to get Maia in your local supermarket is to ask the Dairy Manager directly and have them fill out a product request form. I have been searching for literally years to find a store that sells Maia yogurt near my home. Thank you for your reply I like your yogurt very much because of the texture, of course never to be stirred just scooped out in its rich thickness its mild yet sweet flavors.
