The last time I had a visit to Benstock's office, I was 3 years old. I went back today 17 years later, and had the best dental experience in a VERY long time. Typically I am afraid to go to the dentist, but everyone here was so gentle, thorough, and caring. They explained the importance of everything they did, gave me pointers to keep everything in good condition, and they didn't keep me waiting for my appointment. Many of my other family members have gone to/go to this facility, and I highly recommend them. It's hard to find an exceptional dentist anymore!

This is something I don't normally do unless it's meaningful, truthful and because of the real fact that a lot of reviews on yelp appear to me as a way for a few to vent. or complain. Clearly one can see through most sour reviews and realize there could be a thousand good ones that didnt get written, some like to complain making it look worse that it really is..how does that old saying go?
Ok I started seeing Dr. Benstock in 1999 although not as often as I should have but what he did for me was 5 star all the way, you see all my theeth were getting bad, really bad, I needing fillings

Dr. Scott Benstock is wonderful. He has been dedicated, caring and excellent throughout my extensive treatment needs, often going out of his way to make sure the process is proceeding as well as it can. He offers alternatives for treatment, is sensitive to financial concerns and always listens to what the patient needs, even on weekends. He has a warm, professional manner (and a good sense of humor); his staff is helpful, friendly and in terms of Wendy, his office manager, a true gem. After much work, I am thrilled with the results he achieved and cannot imagine going to another dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Benstock for about six years and just have to take a moment to publicly compliment him and his staff for the excellent service and quality work.
Recently I broke a tooth and needed to have it repaired. As usual, the staff was helpful and accommodating, including finding a time that worked with my schedule. But that and a clean, modern office are expected in dentistry.
More importantly, I have always felt well cared for. Dr. Scott always asks if anything hurts to please let him know. The one time this happened a few years ago, he immediately stopped and injected more Novocaine

The work I received from Dr. Benstock completely screwed up the way I eat, probably for the rest of my life.
The worst pain I have experienced in my life was at the hands of Dr. Benstock.
Dr. Benstock insisted I get x-rays while I was pregnant, and I had to argue with him in order to not get one.
I went in for 3 fillings, and the cavities needed to be scraped out, drilled, and filled. During the scraping part on one of my teeth, the novocaine wore off, and it HURT. He reapplied the topical novocaine, and it WORE OFF AGAIN during the drilling part. It was the worst pain I have ever felt, and a

This was my second visit with Dr. Benstock. I must stress that the dental work I have had done there (just cleanings) has been satisfactory. Clean office, professional dental technicians, and thorough cleanings.
But that is it when it comes to professionalism.
My visit today will be my last.
I have always thought that Dr. Benstock was a little bit sketchy when trying to approach additional procedures.
During my first visit, my then girlfriend was from Japan, where perfect teeth alignment isn't a very big deal. He kept pushing her to fix her misaligned molars, to the point where she felt

My experience started with an emergency infected molar. It was nice of Dr. Benstock to come in on a weekend, but he just gave my daughter pain killer, not antibiotics, and an appointment for root canal.
A day later her jaw was so swollen that she could not open it. Called back and he was like, "Oh, I guess I should have prescribe her antibiotics"... well, duh!
A few days later the day of the root canal came. The inflammation was still so bad my daughter could not open her mouth and only mumble.
He puts her in the chair and tells her to open her mouth for anesthesia.
I'm happy
