Services
Like many things in our lives, we anticipate and plan for many of life's most important events: our wedding, our first home, the birth of our children, family vacations and retirement. We plan ahead so that we can anticipate our family's needs and make sure that all the details are handled. So, why do so many people leave life's most significant event to their loved ones to plan during a time of sadness and distress?
What is the significance of a funeral service? Can I make my funeral arrangements before I die? How many types of caskets exist, and why are some more expensive than others? What is embalming and is it necessary before services are held? Can a funeral home assist me with Social Security benefits and Veterans death benefits?
Grief that accompanies the death of a loved one can cause a painful, emotional and physical journey. Following the loss of a loved one, it's comforting to know you are not alone. It is customary for friends, neighbors, and loved ones to provide many types of support to the family during their difficult time.
Having to make unexpected funeral arrangements for family member, such as a parent or grandparent, can add further emotional strain during an already overwhelming situation. Like many things in our lives, planning ahead just makes sense. So it's also wise to complete your funeral and cemetery arrangements in advance to take advantage of significant financial opportunities that could await you.
The loss of a loved one which necessitates the writing of an obituary is far from a happy occasion, and in the midst of grief it can be difficult to imagine writing anything at all. Writing and giving a eulogy is a way of saying goodbye to someone who has died while at the same time leaving loved ones with a fond memory of the deceased.

We couldn’t have been more pleased by the professional service provided by Simple Tribute from the day of my father’s passing until after his cremation. Everyone there was always kind, patient, and more than helpful. They treated my father and our family with dignity and respect. Someone was always available 24/7, and they would go out of their way to help. I felt confident that my father was in good hands. They definitely made a sad and difficult two weeks easier. I would like to send them my sincere thanks and appreciation.

Contacted this death merchant via telephone to inquire about fees/prices. "Answering service" representative placed me on hold for 4 minutes or so. I hung-up.
Fortunately, worked out for the better as Philip D. Rinaldi Funeral Service, P.A., in Silver Spring as they are transparent and detailed about their fees as listed on their website.
The following is from Checkbook.org:
"When discussing options and costs with a funeral home, start by asking for its General Price List (GPL). The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires funeral homes to provide a copy of their prices if you visit their facilities

Please read other negative reviews. This place is AWFUL at time for need for actual service. Director literally fought with my wife who was calm, as director was yelling "they are a discount service so don't expect anything!" Worse, they will not honor what was put IN WRITING in a contract written in 2011. The last thing you need to deal with when a loved one dies is this subhuman person. Or having to contact a lawyer. Avoid. Also, avoid.
