The staff at Going Home Funeral and Cremation Services were great to work with due to the recent death of my Mother-in-law. Many of the staff went out of their way to answer all questions and be as helpful as possible. One in particular was an absolute joy to collaborate with which was Keylee. Going Home Cremation & Funeral Care did an amazing job helping me through the tough and painful process a death in the family brings. It takes true talent and care to assist someone over the phone and make them feel understood and heard. Keely Aranibar was assigned to my family and did an outstanding job with following up on our needs and providing all of the information necessary. I cannot recommend her enough. Their newly renovated Woodbine facility was very welcoming and professional and provided a clean, cozy, safe feeling. Thank you to all who helped my family through our loss.

After contact or reviewing all other options at the time of my husband’s impending death I became frustrated. I had always assumed I would use Bethesda’s “regular” funeral home. We were looking for minimal service and were shocked at the price. In contacting less expensive places I was frustrated by their refusal to start the process until after the death. We lost a bunny early in the year. We choose to cremate her, we found Going Home pet Cremation and couldn’t have felt more supported during our loss.. They were compassionate and genuinely empathetic. Then I lost my husband to suicide June1st.., it was devastating.. the only thing I did know was that my husband always wanted to be cremated. The rest of the whole process was a miserable blur.. I chose Going home, because we knew them and knew them to treat us like family. Crazy! I have used Going Home Cremation twice in the past (my Mom and my brother). Everything was smooth and seamless. Absolutely a blessing. This time, for my sister-in-law, started out very confusing with a definite uncoordinated information flow to the family. Everyone was respectful, compassionate, helpful and very understanding of our pain and loss. They were quick to answer any of our questions, and took care of everything, all the paperwork that was required to be filled out and filed, which took a lot of stress and anxiety off our minds.
