It is not uncommon for healthy eyes to notice spots or clouds that pass across your field of vision. These are called floaters and they may take a number of shapes and are most apparent when looking at a solid background. They are the shadow of small clots of gel or cells in the fluid that composes the inside of the eye.
While dry eyes may seem like a minor inconvenience, anyone who is forced to deal with it on a continuous bases will tell you that frequently dealing with dry eyes can become more then just a nuisance. Not only do dry eyes create a constant distraction and irritation, the effects of the dryness and the rubbing that becomes inevitable can leave you looking less than your best.

Our family has used this practice for our vision care (dad and 2 of our 5 children wear glasses/contacts; another child has color blindness) and we have been very pleased. Appointments are kept and we've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. Glasses are ready when promised. We have even gone in without an appointment for glasses that needed simple repairs and been taken care of. Dr. Sobot and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend this small, family-friendly practice!
