Paraclete provides academic excellence and develops young people who are committed to living their faith and to making positive contributions to society. We strive to ensure that each and every graduate meets the requirements to continue to a 4-year college after high school. Whatever your goals, Paraclete is the first step toward success. Learn about everyday life at Paraclete, how to get ahead in high school, and key prep strategies. Articles, resources, tips and stories from our campus.
Services
As a co-ed, college-prep private Catholic high school, Paraclete High School is dedicated to unlocking the fullest potential of our students: physically, academically, spiritually, and socially. We enable each student to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible global citizens in an accepting and nurturing value-based environment.
Students are individuals, not simply members of a class. That's why Paraclete teachers and staff connect with each student on a personal level-and since we're significantly smaller than the public schools in the area, those connections play a significant role in helping every student find success. Paraclete offers unlimited opportunities for students to reach their potential.
Paraclete High School offers a two-year program allowing students the opportunity to dive into AP courses and earn the AP Capstone diploma. AP Capstone is a two-year program for high school students who want to take AP courses that will enrich the traditional subject classes with courses in research and skills preparing students for the rigorous study of higher education.
It is our responsibility to incorporate technology into the curriculum to best prepare students for success after graduation. Have any technology questions? At Paraclete, we believe in guiding our students to success in high school and beyond to college. To that end, we have set and achieved several milestones to become a leader in the Antelope Valley and beyond for educational technology.
Paraclete High School welcomes students and families of all religious backgrounds, but centers our mission on upholding Catholic traditions both in and out of the classroom. Out of respect for the diversity of our student body, our religious studies courses present the Catholic perspective, but teach critical thinking.

Son entered Paraclete for Freshman year during COVID pandemic. Considering the limitations for in person schooling, our experience with Paraclete so far has been great. We did our research of the schools in the area and know past and current students at those schools. Paraclete seems to stand far above the other local schools. We look forward to our experience with Paraclete to improve as in person learning resumes.

As a Paraclete Alumni, if i could rate this school negative stars i would. I graduated in 2019. If you want your kid to succeed in college THIS IS THE WRONG SCHOOL!!! They claim college prep, while all they do is teach children how to cheat their way through classes. Most of the teachers are racist, ALL of them are sexist, and only HALF of them ACTUALLY HAVE TEACHING CREDENTIALS. This school is a cult, your child will have ZERO freedom going here. The only good person here was SAUL, the janitor.

This is a long one. I want to make sure that I am thorough and fair.
Starting my daughter as a freshman at Paraclete during a Pandemic was challenging. Before the pandemic, Paraclete treated us fairly and without issue. I do have to say that the classes may need to be a little more challenging, not with the quantity of work, but in the challenging my daughter. Again, this is said having started the school during the pandemic. Students were asked to be more responsible for their learning and pay attention while at home when home was the respite from school. Couple that with the fatigue of sitting

When we toured this school 3 years ago my son instantly knew this was it! He has been extremely happy at Paraclete. It's a close nit school where everyone knows each other and take care of each other. There is ZERO tolerance or bullying! I have always had good open communication with the teaching staff and they are always available to speak & support my child. It's a Catholic school and they teach and encourage my son to have good ethics and good morals. This is a huge plus and we are grateful!! My son will be graduating next year and I'm soooo happy we chose Pataclete!

Paraclete offers high quality education and a sense of family. Even through the pandemic, my child has been able to work and be involved with other students all from the safety of our home. I would highly recommend this school.

My child will be finishing her second year at Paraclete. She has loved being able to attend high school in an academically focused environment. The administration, teachers and support staff have always been helpful. I'm thankful that we can send her to a Catholic High School that supports our faith.

If you're looking for an alternative to large public schools, Paraclete is the best high school option in the Antelope Valley. The teachers are engaged and they utilize technology well on campus. Our son loves his classmates, the cafeteria, and also the size of his classes. Sports are good. Although the main reason we send our kids here is to make sure they are prepared for college, the one big disappointment is that there is no football stadium. We look forward to sending our youngest son to Paraclete and we highly recommend the school.

Our son had attended Paraclete for the past four years and we could not be happier. His journey through high school has been painless, no bullying, no drama, just strong support from teachers and staff and a wonderful foundation in faith. He is prepared for college in the fall and that is all because of Paraclete. We are truly going to miss our Paraclete family.

I was very impressed with how Paraclete handled the transition to online schooling, after short notice of the schools having to close down. After talking to family and friends it seemed that Paraclete was the only school where students didn't lose any school time. Instead they took control of the situation and handled it with such ease. Paraclete has been such a blessing to our son. I highly recommend sending your student to Paraclete.

Send your child here and you will not be disappointed! I was very impressed with how Paraclete handled the covid-19 pandemic. They closed the school starting on March 16th and were conducting online learning by March 18th. On March 19th, the Governor of CA issues a stay at home order, amplifying the foresight into PHS' decision. Thank you PHS for thinking outside of the box and not letting our child's growing mind go idle!

This is my sons first private catholic school that he has attended. Since the beginning of the process was exciting and smooth. I like to office staff and Father G. My son keeps telling me how much he loves this school over any public school. The curriculum is challenging and they are clearly getting ready for college, and on top of that they celebrate mass everyday for students who are able to go to daily mass.

If I could leave a 0 star review I definitely would. This is the worst school I've been to in my life. All they care about is THEIR money over the education of their students. It's more of a business rather than a school. The people in the office are rude for no reason. They were always catching a attitude with me, but now that I'm graduated they can catch these hsnfs

This school has an awful staff, Tracy Hill (girls soccer coach) caused me to cut myself and triggered severe anxiety to the point of depression my senior year her and Margaret Neil laughed at my fathers accent saying " I can't even understand him" in bursts of laughter. Margaret Neil was charged with assault by a softball players parents. This faculty is racist, I would suggest no minority or young children looking for guidance go here. If you would like to further discuss this with me please do. This was all brought up to the office at which point there is formal documentation where

We retired from the Air Force and moved to the AV when my daughter was going into 12th grade and my son into 9th. Paraclete typically doesn't accept new 12th graders due to their strict graduation requirements but, fortunately, my daughter met the requirements and was enrolled. It wasn't an easy year but several of the teachers were very encouraging and overall the students were kind... we even had a pre-party for the homecoming dance and more than 20 kids attended... many with their parents which was a great experience for all of us! My daughter graduated and, with the help of the

Be forewarned if your child wants to be play sports. Paraclete athletic teams play in a league with schools that are over 100 miles away. The kids will be spending an awful lot of time on the bus.

Apparently no one in the AV wants Paraclete in their league. There are serious ethical issues regarding the coaches, they have a win at any cost approach and there have been allegations of cheating.

Other schools in the AV perceive Paraclete as classless. Their teams win a lot of games, but the lessons the kids take away are highly questionable. There are better schools in the AV.

Paraclete is the best school in the Antelope Valley. I am an alumni and I can easily say the education I received made college easy. I have my bachelors degree and am currently working on my masters degree. The skills I learned at Paraclete have truly been a blessing.
