Services
Termite inspection is a visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of a home for evidence of wood-destroying insects (WDI) and wood-destroying organisms (WDO). The inspector will visually inspect the entire interior and exterior of a home (including accessing and entering any sub-space such as basements, crawlspaces and the attic may also be accessed and inspected.)
Having a home inspected is similar to getting a physical checkup, from the roof to the foundation. If a problem or symptom is discovered, the inspector may recommend further evaluation or repairs. Our inspectors are certified and inspect to the guidelines set forth by NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspector).
NuCentury Inspections has relationships with local roofers who specialize in real estate transaction inspections and are known for quality workmanship, quick turnaround, and fair pricing. Our roofers are scheduled to inspect the roof the same day as you are having other inspections such as home and termite done, making it easy to obtain information about the property quickly.
Tent fumigation is the leading solution to Drywood Termite infestations. This treatment involves a carefully researched method of introducing Vikane Gas Fumigant (Sulphuryl Fluoride) into a structure. This effectively penetrates all wood timbers in sub areas, walls, attics, eaves, etc. to eliminate all the Drywood Termites within the structure.

Bill Hall and his company are thorough and reliable. I have worked with many inspection companies over the years. I like their punctuality, the detailed reports, and friendly staff. I have yet to see a bad report with copious statements that some of these companies make with generic statements. I like the personable staff when I call to make an appointment and their response time when I need a report as soon as possible. Highly recommend.

I am a local realtor and I have used the inspectors at NuCentury Inspections for a few years now. Bill is a very thorough home inspector. He is very knowledgeable and he takes the time to go over his report right at the scene. Benji is the pest inspector and he too is very thorough. I even used them for my son's house when he bought and sold in the Bay Area. They are always on time and deliver the reports promptly. There are several other inspection companies in the Bay Area but these guys are by far my favorite.

As a realtor, I recommend Bill and team at Nu Century. They are thorough and very responsive with scheduling. I have been able to make my contract contingencies because of their flexibility with scheduling.
I tend to hire inspectors who don't try to find extra problems just so they can sell you the repairs. Nu Century is neutral in not creating repair work, they just report issues in terms of Repairing or Upgrading. They also help bundle roof inspections so its a one-stop shop.

Did a home inspection. Months later, damage was found, cracked joists/beams under the house... more money out of my pocket. What a joke. An unskilled laborer found this, but a trained and licensed home inspector could not?! An unskilled unlicensed laborer also found a water leak under the tub, see video. Not a peep from this home inspection company. Contractors have later told me that home inspections are a joke. I agreed. Note to self: buy "as is" next time, and bring a structural engineer or contractor to inspect.
