We are a family owned and operated company and have been inspecting homes throughout the Bay Area since 1993. Roger and Lori are a husband and wife team that will meet with clients, inspect the home, and provide a detailed report on their findings. Clayton Home Inspections has been active in the CCAR (Contra Costa Association of Realtors), DAR (Delta Association of Realtors) and WCR (Women's Counsel of Realtors) since 1993.
Roger has over twenty-five years of general construction background, and with his vast knowledge of construction, fifteen years experience as owner, and maintaining thirty CEC's annually, he provides great information for our clients. Roger has also served on the Golden Gate CREIA chapter as an officer and has been involved with numerous CREIA educational seminars.

We are prompt for our appointments, and we encourage anyone interested in participating on site to join us. Building relationships during our inspections provides an opportunity for questions and an overall better understanding of the home. We are thorough and fair in our evaluations of each property, and we want everyone to understand the conditions of the home, so informed decisions can be made.
When you call the office Pat is ready to help you with your appointment and answer any questions you may have. We can also schedule appointments via text or email. Typically, we can accommodate your requests for inspections within two to three business days. Our schedule can accommodate three properties each day, and we service properties six days a week.

Roger, Lori, and their son are the best! They are very thorough finding things we think the sellers were trying to hide from us which as a nervous buyer we greatly appreciated. They took the time to answer all our questions and we learned a lot from them both, making us feel more secure about the property. A great family business ran by genuinely good people!

The absolute best. My wife and I couldn't be happier. Although this was our first home inspection experience, I can't imagine it could get any better. I have used Roger & Lori at at least over 40 times over the last 8 years and they are great at what they do. My Clients saved $15,000+ in one transaction after their inspection after we used the information discovered to negotiate with the sellers . They have worked weekends with me when we needed access and I can always call them to ask questions about the reports if i need more details. They never rush an inspection or take short cuts and they always take time to explain all their findings after they finish.
