I've been involved in computers and computer repair since my first family computer, an Apple II in the mid 1980's. In the 90's I spent my time in college fascinated by the internet and over time watched it change from a text-based interface into what we know it is today.
After going to work for a Department of Defense-funded MIT-staffed research facility for a number of years I worked for a number of tech companies, including a major anti-virus software vendor, a digital video editing startup and a voicemail server vendor for a major wireless telecommunications carrier.Though these years I came to notice a lack of competent, affordable and honest technical services in the suburban community.

We are a fully-equipped repair shop that can handle everything from software installation and upgrades to hardware repairs, upgrades and replacements. We can also perform custom builds for space-saving form factor machines. We can repair hardware on most laptops provided replacement parts are available from the manufacturer or a third-party.

Erick took my call on a day he was not working, accepted my computer and ran diagnostics over a weekend. We had to order a part, which added about two weeks to the process, but he downloaded all my data to an external hard drive (again on a weekend) so I could keep working while we waited on the part. Computer is working like new now. Would definitely recommend and use Erick again for future computer issues.

Last week I dropped my work laptop while trying to put it into my bag, rendering it unusable. Without any good backups (I know, I know) I was in trouble, so I contacted Reading PC Repair for help. Erick was very prompt in responding and made it clear he was empathic to my situation.
