I broke my lease due to personal reasons, and I knew I had to pay a fee but their handling of the situation was just greedy. I told them that I would move out on May 1. I left auto-pay on so that they can charge my account. Turns out, that was a mistake. They told me that because I already paid for the month, they can't move me out until the next month. The following month, I had to remind them that I moved out already. They emailed me the bill, which included the termination fee plus all the utilities even though I had not lived there the entire month. Then she told me that she would send my bill

Would not recommend getting an apartment with them not even worth paying almost 1000$ a month they would never answer when we would contact them we had a flood in our apartment thanksgiving day it got bad and they didn’t even wanna replace the carpet they just lifted it up and put fans under it so that it would dry . Worst place to ever rent at . Apartments aren’t even modern and are so old .

Sunset apartments was the worse place I have stayed at in West Texas. My air conditioner had went out and it was triple digits, so I called the office and it took them 3 days just to put in a unit. It took them 2 whole weeks to actually fix the air conditioner. I was only able to stay in the bedroom vexbeca the rest of the apartment was so hot. So when I called the manager and told I had to get mad, until they could finally come fix. The manager to sunset apartments was very rude and un professional with me. If you are considering moving out here, make sure you’re not in building one. Myself and my neighbors in the building have had issues. 30+ mice caught and killed in my apartment alone. My personal belongings have been ruined, they have had to replace a stove due to lack of action on their part, and I’ve spent hours cleaning mouse droppings, urine, and corpses off the floors, counters, my furniture, etc. Just a word of caution to potential tenants!! No one should be forced to deal with this!!

I really wanted to give more stars bc I'm happy enough overall, but there's a lot of problems that have come up very quickly - our carpet full of plant burs on day one, my toilet's reluctance to flush, etc. It's sort of odd, too, to give your new residents a microwave popcorn bag when the place doesn't come with a microwave. The staff are very friendly however. (My review is repeated on multiple sites.)

I moved here when the prices weren't that high and everything was okay. Then the problems started. They said the apartment was ready to move in. The A/C was not working and it was very hot. Then they began cutting the water without notice (left us without water for two days or so), let people in without notice and they didn't watch them work, so I ended up missing items in my apartment. Whenever a problem was reported they would try to find a way to blame you. The apartment I moved in reeked of cigarette and they refused to repaint it to help with the smell. Very outdated. I would not recommend

I cannot express in words how much I hated these apartments. The turnover rate for management at this place is ridiculous. Every time I would go in the office to pay my rent (because you can’t pay online) I would see someone new. Appliances are super outdated for the amount of rent they are wanting/charging. They want $900.00 for a one bedroom that will take you back to the 1980's. Screw that! When it came time to renew my lease I renewed for a year.
