Upcycle Fitness was South Jersey's first Indoor Cycling, Barre and Yoga studio and we've been moving together in Downtown Collingswood since 2015. No matter what, our community has always been at the heart of what we do. We've always prided ourselves on keeping safety top of mind while also providing a variety of fun and motivating classes with the help of our amazing team of certified instructors who all bring something different to their classes. What makes us different?
You won't find us dancing on the bikes or lifting weights while riding -- all strength work is done off the bike so we can focus solely on the ride and truly connect in with our bodies and our breath. Our instructors are not performers or celebrities. We like to keep it real -- no one's on a pedestal here.

Services
Our cycling classes are all taught by Certified Spinning Instructors and typically range from 45-60 minutes. If you've never taken a class with us before, we recommend getting to the studio at least 10 minutes prior to class so the instructor can help you with bike setup and tell you what to expect during their class.
Access full length cycling, barre, yoga + HIIT classes as well as shorter workouts to squeeze in when you don't have much time. You can move from home with some of your favorite instructors or find a new one*. Not everyone is comfortable being recorded, so the whole team isn't featured in our video library!
You know those people who knew exactly what they wanted to do with their life from a really young age? That was never Kim. Though she's been a part of the fitness scene in various roles since 2008, it wasn't until opening Upcycle that she really felt like she was where she belonged (minus all the times she worked out with her big sister to Billy Blanks Tae-Bo videos in their living room growing up).
Early class cancellations will be honored up to 12 hours in advance and the credit for that class will be returned to your account for use at a future date. Late class cancellations occur within 12 hours of class starting. If using a bulk class package or single drop in, you will not receive the class credit back on your account.

Great classes and great instructors. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and people of all different shapes and sizes attend classes/cheer each other on. When I first came here I was nervous and a bit intimated but in each class you're encouraged to push yourself while being reminded everyone is at their own level. Classes are great and the community is amazing.

I have found Upcycle to be the most welcoming, inclusive fitness studio I have ever been to. I feel extremely welcome and supported in class. I have never felt ashamed for not being at the level of others in the class or for having to modify an exercise to make it easier. I have enjoyed working out more since I found Upcycle than I ever had before.

I cannot say enough good things about UpCycle! The owners are amazing and incredibly dedicated, and every instructor I’ve encountered has been kind, patient and provided me with a terrific yoga class. The studio ambiance is wonderfully positive and peaceful too - can’t wait to get back there soon, but enjoying streaming and outdoor classes in the meantime!

Amazing would be the first word that comes to mind when thinking of my experience thus far at upcycle. I moved to Collingswood in June, and hadn't been in a gym obviously since March and virtual live stream just was not for me.
Upcycle is doing the best of both worlds right now and doing it wonderfully. They are offering live streams AND utilizing their outdoor space and local parks. They are doing outdoor spin, barre, sculpt, and yoga. While doing this they are mandating they 6ft apart, masks upon arrival/ departure, and I have never felt that it was risky.
Another but important thing

I've explored virtually every cycling studio and gym with cycling classes over the past 15 years. Upcycle consistently delivers the best instructors in the Philadelphia region The playlists are varied, and always solid, the ride plans are a great mix. Kim, the founder and owner is a spirited and creative entrepreneur. And Ruth's classes rock.

Awesome find for an out of towner. My family lives in South Jersey and I was so happy to find Upcycle and would be a regular here if I was local. I made sure my friends know! As a avid outdoor cyclist and an indoor cycling coach in Denver, I am pretty picky with my indoor rides. I love that this place isn't gimmicky and has a welcoming, cool vibe. No judgement and teachers and students are of all shapes and ages. No push ups on the bike, complete darkness, or unsafe moves. You could be brand new to the bike or training for a big ride. The bikes have a computer to monitor RPMs and the coaches

I broke my ankle during a spinning class at this studio on 8/17/19. I fell off a bike because the toe cages on their bikes are cheap, inflexible pieces of plastic, rather than an adjustable nylon strap. After this painful injury, they couldn't wait to get me out of here fast enough. The ultimate shock: THEY CHARGED ME A $20 "NO SHOW" FEE FOR THE CLASS IN WHICH I BROKE MY ANKLE. I'm still currently arguing with my insurance company to pay for the injury, and I had to pay out of pocket for the physical therapy to learn how to walk again. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EVER GO

I need a lot of variety in workouts, as I'm 40 something with kids & what works changes. I love it here because I can do yoga, spin, barre and there are so many options for scheduling and levels. You never feel like you don't belong & it's the most consistency I've been able achieve because I love going to the classes. Owners are great & they also care about the community.

As soon as the doors opened at Upcycle a couple years ago, I knew this place was going to be special for the town of Collingswood.
Kim has done an awesome job bringing to life a great community and cycle studio!
I highly recommend sitting in on one of the many classes at Upcycle. Not only is it fun and upbeat but you get to see familiar faces each week to make you feel like you are part of something more. The teachers are awesome, give clear instructions and always willing to help newcomers and remind you "its your ride!"
Go check out this lively and bright studio on Haddon Ave.!

I recently joined Upcycle and am loving it! There is a great variety of class types and instructors. My favorite class is Cycle Flow; nothing like yoga after a good ride. A genius combo! The members are equally as helpful and friendly as the staff.
Why I chose Upcycle over spinning at the gym:
Studio: Perfect ambiance for "riding"
Variety of Classes: More than sit and spin
Schedule: Multiple times available throughout the day and week AND you can sign up online
Instruction: Not pitch black with music so loud you cannot connect within your own self. Perfect medium at Upcycle!
