Worst car wash I’ve ever had!!!
I paid $25 for “The Works” which includes interior cleaning/vacuum and tires and I think mats or something. The exterior was clean but the interior was a hot mess. It looked like I never brought my car in at all. See pictures for examples.
One of the main reasons I paid for interior was because I had sand in my back still from this past summer that was all over my Weathertech mat in the back. They took my mats out to clean them and they vacuumed the interior, which should have removed any sand that was there or that had gotten under my mats. The sand was

Unnecessarily dangerous. I've asked them before not to move my car with their leg hanging out of it, but they do it anyways, so I don't go there anymore. Why would anyone drive a car with their leg hanging out of it? Do they think their leg can stop my 6,000 lb car? If the door ends up colliding with something and slamming shut their leg will be severely injured and I'm scared I'm going to get sued. If their insurance company found out, they would probably drop them. I don't get it. Why do they insist on hanging their leg out of the car when they are moving it around the parking lot? Paid $125, plus a $10 tip, for my car to be detailed they forgot to put my mats back in the car, didn’t clean the bed/ trunk of the car. Glove boxes untouched, someone took all of my spare change along with a phone charger. Outside of the car wasn’t cleaned well. Definitely go to another car wash if you want to get a good job done.

Broke a part of my interior climate control gauge off. They told me they would replace it, etc. and they've since ghosted me and won't return my calls. Ridiculous. This will cost me a couple hundred dollars to fix and I've been contacting them for 4 months about this. Save your $ and your sanity.

Pathetic service they don't clean but want people to pay? Hmm also they won't clean doors seat dashboard or floors but want $75 Hmmm. Horrible service and experience would not recommend this place to anyone.

First time customer who won't be returning. Paid for a "works wash" figuring it would be more detailed and it included the tires (rims were very dirty. They didn't even clean the tires or attempt to. When I questioned them I was
Told that it was because the rims were black. I wiped my fingers and two of the rims to show the dirt on my hands. I then opened the rear lift gate only to find that they hadn't even vacuumed back there. Bugs still all over the front of my car as well. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Going here is like flushing it down the toilet.

The staff is always friendly. Most of them have been there for years. They consistently do a good job. The detailing services are very good. The car always come back looking new.

Astonishing wash, took off all the bugs and dirt on my Jeep as we are visiting from nebraska, never seen a place hand dry even for the lowest price. The worker who hand dry was a wonderful man, we talked and he had great customer service . Bring cash as they deserve a tip. Nebraska doesn’t even have a service as good as this place. Ignore the bad reviews on here as they are cheap folks.

I paid a lot over the usual car wash for a thorough cleaning of my car. As every else’s car came out, I was told my car would take 30 minutes.I had been there 15 already. After 40 more minutes, I asked them to check on my car and it was sitting in the parking lot. No one ever told me it was done. The car was not feet clean and I wasted a ton of time.as to the owners response, I never left the store. My name nor car make was never called. I sat patiently and even asked after 30 minutes. No one cared.

Grand Prix provided interior detailing on my Chevy truck today. I use it every day for construction and it was filthy. When I picked it up, I was amazed. The interior looks brand new. They did a fantastic job and I'll definitely return for more work.

I used to like coming here. Until the day I drove off in my shiny clean car and a couple of days later noticed my passenger side exterior mirror had been broken off and duct taped back on. They didn’t even tell me. That was an expensive lesson to learn not to go here anymore.

Did not realize they don't hand wash. $20 for them to run it through the automatic wash. There was still dust on interior and they don't blow out the water in your mirrors/windows so it splatters when you drive. Not worth it!

For $38, they did a phenomenal job, on a Saturday sunny morning when things were busy. 30 minutes in & out and a very nice professional staff.
I will be back.

So disappointed. I paid for the Works and was on my lunch hour so I didn't thoroughly go over the interior before I left. Dust everywhere! I shouldn't have to pay for a deep cleaning to get the dust off of the window buttons or the center console. How about the obvious dust on the seat?

I've been here before due to its proximity to work, but I'm so steamed right now that I doubt I'll be back.

Our car got egged and they took the time to ensure they got it all off and hand waxed the spots afterwards...

I just had a terrible experience at this car wash.

For many years I owned a full service car wash so I was flabbergasted when I pointed out there still a little bit of mud on my car the attendant refused to clean it said I had to pay more.

That is totally unacceptable I will never go back there again. I went in and told the manager and he just shrugged his shoulder

John N - I did own a car wash in HIghland park for 4 years. It was mud not tar and the attendant was rude which is what made me mad. I cleaned it

I would save your money and go to a real car wash.
This is a machine wash. Normally it's ok because they will wipe the car down 100% and get spots the machine wash missed but nope. They do half a** job. My windshield below wasn't even wiped down below the wipers!! Really!?!? I got the wheel wash one and one they wash the rubber mats. But interior cleaning is a joke. Vacuum and I think they wipe down with a dry cloth. And even vacuum. I think they just did floors. Missed cup holder, door slots and seats. Wow!! I spent extra 30 mins after coming home to redo all they missed. For the money

Walked in to get my car washed, attendant looked at me like I was an idiot. She did a great job of convincing me to go elsewhere. Apparently this car wash is new to the whole "washing cars" thing. On my way elsewhere to give someone else my money.

If I could give negative stars I would. I asked for the $16.95 car wash and the gentleman said he would do his best to get dog hair vacuumed. The inside of the car after the car wash and a $3. tip was FILTHY as indicated by the pictures. This is the WORST of all experiences NEVER GO THERE.

It's unfortunate to see so many poor reviews of this place. In the past several years I've had my car washed at this location, and I've only had one legit negative experience (a lazy wash), but other than that I've had decent service.

It's possible my expectations might be different from other reviewers, but I get the Wheel Deal (one above the basic) each time and leave satisfied...approximately $18 plus tip.

Good customer service, $3 check in offer, and best greeting card collection around.

Always wondered about the benefit of having a car wash within walking distance of our home. Today, I figured it out. Dropped in for usual car wash and I pointed out to the owner some crap on the side of the car that I picked up on a long road trip. Didn't expect the usual car wash to remove it and it didn't. He looked and we decided on a buff and wax package. Walked home and walked back 3 hours later.
Looked like a new car and the issue was resolved after buff and wax.
Everything was handled very professionally.

The location is convenient, off of two major roads, but whoever decided to squeeze a car wash in a small slanted chunk of land really needs their head checked. Once your in line there is no way to get out in the event you realize you don't want to wait 20-40 minutes for a car wash.
Outside of that, the actual wash/service is mediocre. Greeted by a few angry unpleasant dudes. Paid $20 for basic wash which doesn't even include rims and armor all. They did a decent job dusting but judging by all of their "ala carte" signage while waiting in line, it seems they want you to

this is what I get for not taking the time and washing my car myself. Got the works option and yes i did use the yelp check in coupon. Either way, for the $19 plus tip of $5 i paid it is totally NOT worth it. You would think getting a car wash in Deerfield and Highland Park the service would be outstanding. Unfortunately it isn't. Yes my car was dirty, dog hair minimal and it is cloth interior. I am back to square one with trying to find a good car wash near work.

I love a clean car! There is nothing like getting into a clean car like a breath of fresh air.

Grand Prix car wash offers lots of options for whatever your car cleaning wishes.

We have a golden retriever...lots of hair. So, I typically get our car cleaned inside and out which is one of their many options. However, the quality we receive for what we pay for varies due to the member of the crew who is in charge of our car. Some members do an awesome job. Some not so much. I just wish there was consistency with expectations.
