Then we work with you to craft the language you need to begin changing the story. We can help with mental health assessment, substance use evaluation, Substance Abuse Professional Services, vocational assessment, and more.

I had an amazing experience with Joelle. She’s a newer therapist with ODCFC and is exceptional. I would highly recommend requesting to work with her!
I will say, the billing process is a bit confusing and many times I wasn’t notified that I had balances. Scheduling also can be tricky but I think that’s due to the pandemic and obstacles coming up in everyone’s lives!
That being said, my five stars still stand because the sessions were incredible with Joelle! She is bubbly, understanding, and always has a new process to try if previous suggestions weren’t right for me.

Two years ago, I almost lost my life due to a negligent, unprofessional therapist at Open Door. My family is just now receiving word that we apparently have unpaid fees that are now in collections and due in full in 20 days (after not hearing a word from them in over 2 years). I am quite literally shaking while writing this post because I thought I had successfully removed myself from that traumatizing company after receiving such life-threatening "care." Instead, the memories from that time have flooded back into my mind and I am now petrified that I will be forced to pay for a service that almost

I went to several DBT group sessions and was seriously disappointed with the care (or lack thereof) that I received. There’s no cap on sharing time and literally an hour and fifteen minutes went to the other patients ranting about their lives and fifteen minutes to actual DBT skills. Nearly TWO YEARS after this ineffective therapy, I received a notice that I’m being sent to collections for unpaid copays that I was never even billed for. Don’t waste your money, time, or energy on this place because you’ll pay for it three times over.

Open Door is wonderful and my experience there has been exceptional. The staff are supportive, knowledgable, and caring. They make sure that each person is heard, even if it may feel uncomfortable to share at first. I was reluctant and outright refused to try or participate at certain points, but the staff was always there with unwavering support and open ears. If you put in the effort - the skills, tools, and community that are provided can be extremely helpful in becoming a more effective person.

I went through the full DBT program (2x through the 4 modules) at open door and it helped me get through a very difficult time in my life. After learning new skills I feel better prepared to deal with whatever life throws my way. The facilitators seemed to really take interest and care about me on a personal level . They were very responsive whenever I tried to reach out. I think that their approach and the skills taught could be helpful to anyone looking to manage their emotions more effectively. DBT can be challenging at times, but it's totally worth sticking it out!

This is not an accredited dbt group and does not properly follow dbt standards. Groups are not capped and that means not everyone will have adequate speaking time. Participants who go through individual counseling are given preferential treatment and therapists divulge their treatment plans to the group. At times the things said are very triggering. Homework is not effective and enforcement of it is non existent . They say they also give 24/7 coaching but I went days without hearing back from anyone. Compared to WISPIC, this place isn’t remotely effective and will not help you.
