Grace Yoga
Grace Yoga Studio will provide an inviting and encouraging space to students of all levels and abilities to practice the discipline of yoga for health and wellbeing. The studio will be a peaceful place that provides motivation and supportive guidance for healthy change.

The goal of Grace Yoga and all of the instructors is to provide a safe and fun place for everybody to participate in yoga classes, and to provide resources for self-nurturing movement that will improve strength, flexibility and balance, with a focus on connecting mind, body and spirit. We are honored to announce Grace Yoga as 2015 Millbrae Business of the Year!
Services
Hatha Yoga is defined as movement that develops strength, flexibility, bodily relaxation, and mental concentration. Hatha classes are designed for mixed-level participants and provide a balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and therapeutic principles. Mindfulness, and the observing of breath and body are integral parts of all classes.
Fortunately for the practice of yoga, western medicine and science have recently taken an interest and have begun thoroughly investigating the practice using randomized controlled studies. Flexibility- with a gradual loosening in the body, aches and pains start to disappear and proper body alignment and posture are achieved.
The Grace Yoga community continues to grow! We are grateful for the expanded support and want to continue to provide a sanctuary for all students. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the studio policies and general yoga etiquette. Please do not bring your cell phone in to the practice area.

I love Grace Yoga. There is a good variety of classes and instructors. It is a warm and family like environment, which is why with this last omicron surge I am so disappointed they have no mask policy (Covid safety). All other gyms and fitness studios I frequent do as per California Department of Public Health. Yes, they do offer virtual classes, but it's not as good as in person. There will probably be future variants and I don't have confidence that Grace will do all that they can to provide a safe place for its members and instructors.

I used to love going here. I signed up for a retreat that I was really excited about but with the Covid Surge, I left a message trying to get info about a refund. I didn't want to be exposed due to health issues and was told it was too late. We're in the middle of a Pandemic and things are crazy right now there should be exceptions during these times. Won't be going back here again since I'm now out 120 dollars.

Love, love, love Grace yoga!! I've been coming for over two years now and it's such an important part of my routine and something I always look forward to! During the pandemic, Grace has thankfully moved all their classes online, literally one of my saving graces through such a hard year! There are so many amazing teachers and such a great variety of classes. Whether you're looking for exercise, meditation, or calm in your life, a rigorous class or a more restorative class, Grace has it all. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Grace Yoga is a perfect studio to connect, learn, support, and inspire each other. There's a variety of classes and convenient times offered, which caters to a range in experience. I think there's a focus on mind-body awareness, alignment details and the exact physical postures. I'm very grateful to all the amazing staff for all their positive energy and caring.

I know no one needs to be told how difficult even everyday life has been living through the pandemic. Finding 75 minutes to go inward and just kind of let go of what we are all experiencing is a gift. Having opportunity to just pay attention to my body, rest my mind, and be part of caring "virtual" community environment has been a godsend. Over the last several months, I have had the pleasure of participating in Gentle, Yin and Restorative classes with teacher/owner Dana and teacher Lorene seven times per week. I realize how challenging it must be for the teachers to prepare and present

This is a great place for Lululemon wearing, German car driving, soccer moms and people from Millbrae. I don't fit the type. With the exception of the receptionists (who were very nice); the owner and the instructors spent their time making sure I knew that I didn't belong. No problem with the students. That was the funny part.

I attended an introductory class. It was fine, just not great. I liked the location, the selection of classes, the level of cleanliness, equipment levels and the fact that parking was easy. I thought I was being silly and spent the money to buy a 5 class package

I am so happy I found online the Chair Yoga class taught by Deanne. I had taken her class in studio weekly for a year before quarantine. It was so great to see familiar faces virtually. What better way to break my day with positivity and deep breathing. I feel energized after the class has ended. Deanne is very clear in her instructions and is able to see us and give us cues. I highly recommend this class.

Easy location and ample parking. I had a classpass and attended the restorative yoga session led by Deb Wong. Sunday 4 class was light with about 5 attendees and I love that bc it felt like a private class.

Studio is clean and provide various tools to use for class. I really enjoyed the session and can't believe the hour went by so quickLy. I felt all my stress had melted away. Will be back!

I am new to Grace and was little nervous before my first class. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Dana with a hug and warm smile. I felt such warmth and welcoming from the whole class and also the wonderful teacher Deanne. Grace is a friendly loving environment and I look forward to my time there.

I've had a few sessions at Grace Yoga in the last week and so far my experience has been superb. This place is not very big and so I would advise definitely coming early and grabbing a spot, especially for some of their more popular time slots (i.e. Sunday morning classes). I like that there is a good assortment of workshops to try out - there is something available here for everyone, from the beginner yogi to more advanced practitioners and everyone else in between. I do wish that they offered more heated courses, but some of the classes build up internal heat so quickly that I wouldn&apos

They have lots of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps, sandbags and others) available for beginners and mindfulness practice. Enjoyed the 30 days for $30 new student special and had the opportunity to try all kinds of classes. I'm getting back into yoga after a break and enjoyed the various teachers styles. They encourage signing up in advance, which is done easily over the phone. New students can complete paperwork online via the website. If you don't have your mat, one can be rented for a couple dollars.

This is an amazing studio. It is not crazy packed and there is always space for my mat. The floors are clean and the vibes are very tranquil. I love the sign out front (it's very cute) and the teachers are fantastic teachers! I recommend taking a class from Lorene she is a really amazing teacher. I would recommend this studio to newbies and advanced Yogis!

A must go!

The perfect yoga studio! I moved to the area about 3 months ago and my previous yoga experience was intermittent. GY offers a fantastic introductory price for new members of $30 for 30 days of unlimited classes. I got to try a large variety of classes, and I have to say there was not one that I didn't enjoy. My favorites are the hatha, gentle, and basic yoga and vinyasa classes. Every teacher I have experienced was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to all students. This truly is the perfect place for a new or experienced yogi. GY has all props needed for each class. The studio itself is clean

I've practiced yoga informally but steadily for over 25 years. Grace Yoga offers a space where I feel completely at ease and welcome to practice at the level I am most comfortable.

Grace Yoga does not have the competitive vibe that others can give. I am comfortable to adjust my poses for the injuries (shoulder, foot) I bring to the practice.

That said, Vivek Nautiyal offers Sunday classes that meet all my needs for yoga: a ceremonial opening and closing, including hands in prayer position and brief chanting of "om", which brings the group together. It honors the spiritual foundation

Love this studio. Instructors are really good.

Only thing I would recommend is to add mirrors for people who aren't constant with their practice(me LOL) to make sure you're doing pose properly you know... or to just look at yourself ;) hahaha

I was pleasantly surprised by this yoga studio -- sometimes, Groupon and Yelp ratings can be a hit or miss but I'm glad that in this case, the experience exceeded my expectations.

First, the yoga studio is VERY clean, calming, organized, and inviting -- you can tell that the owner, Dana, put a lot of thought into the aesthetic and design of the studio. From the art hanging in the bathrooms to the minimalist decor to the not so-in-your-face yoga accessories being sold by the entrance. Everything about the studio is down-to-earth, yet it still delivers a quality experience that's both
