Daily brushing and flossing will keep dental calculus to a minimum, but regular professional cleanings will remove plaque and tartar in places your toothbrush and floss have missed. Your visit to our office is an important part of your program to prevent gum disease, tooth decay and tooth loss. Adults over 35 lose more teeth to gum disease (periodontal disease) than from cavities.
Regular brushing and flossing can't completely eliminate food and plaque from all of the depressions and grooves, especially on molars. The likelihood of developing pit and fissure decay begins early in life, and children are especially vulnerable to the tooth decay that can result from trapped food particles and plaque that accumulates on their chewing teeth.

The worst experience , after crown , my tooth became worse, I can’t bite, can’t drink or eat hot or cold food. They hurt my nerves. I told them, they ask me to get canal root, and pay extra expensive cure fee. I had never want to get the crown before their advice. Dot waste your money, and pay attention to your teeth health,look for another dentist.

Something felt off here. Staff was pleasant and the cleaning was good, but they suggested dental work that seemed over the top. Went in for a routine cleaning, experiencing no pain, and was told I needed several thousands of dollars in dental care - including multiple very expensive crowns to replace old fillings, and even a root canal. Tried another dentist in the neighborhood where I was quoted a few hundred dollars for two small fillings, and they said I absolutely didn’t need a root canal or any crowns. Glad I didn’t waste my money drilling in to healthy teeth. YMMV, of course.

An absolute scam looking to take advantage of young people moving to the area. During my visit I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I was told I needed thousands of dollars in work and emergency cleanings, when I'd been to a different dentist 6 months prior with no issues. I got up from the chair and left because they told me I needed an advanced cleaning that would cost $250. I got a second opinion in Arlington at another dentist and saved myself THOUSANDS of dollars. My family has had a change in our insurance plan over 5 years ago and they have repeatedly told us wrong amounts they will charge us for services because for some reason they refuse to update our insurance plan in their system. We've even told them that our insurance needs to be updated in their system multiple times and they still haven't and are charging us sometimes twice the amount that they tell us in the office for services. We wouldn't have opted for some of the services, if we had known how expensive they would be. I called them in January 2021 about a particular charge

I used to think this was a great dental office but turns out they horribly messed up my boyfriend’s teeth. It was such an egregious and amateur mistake that a different dentist fixed his teeth for free because they felt so bad for him. I also had an extremely painful cleaning here, to the point of tears. The technician was unbelievably callous when I explained how much the cleaning hurt. You also only see an actual dentist for about 30 seconds. Hard pass on this place.

I've been a patient of Ideal Dental for two years now and highly recommend their team! The office is conveniently located walking distance from the Courthouse metro and is extremely clean and professional. I typically make appointments during the work day and have never waited longer than 2 minutes to be seen. Dr. Ghesmati has a high attention to detail and is great to work with. She is thorough in her exams and explanations. The receptionists are very communicative via phone and email to confirm and change appointments. Highly recommend Ideal!

We have been to Ideal Dental Solutions 3x since last April 2019 and we have always had a great experience. Dr. Ghesmati took care of us last year and was so wonderful! She was the most thorough dentist. She was very knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, and took the time to educate me on our plan. I absolutely love this office! Dr Adili and all the staff are very friendly! I used to live near-by and I had to move due to work but I still drive an hour to come here because I have had such great experiences. Dr Adili has the best chair side manner of any dentist I have ever been too.
He is very friendly and does everything possible to minimize any pain or discomfort you may experience. He spends time to explain everything in detail about the treatment using the best visual technology that I have ever seen. Nothing but praise about this place!!!

I have had a horrible experience at Ideal Dental Solutions & with Dr. Adili.
He might be a good doctor but is a big fraud.
In my first visit to him, he took an X-ray of all my teeth and started suggesting treatment plans.
For one of my teeth (#3) he suggested a resin-based filling.
In my second visit, he opened my tooth and applied a temporary filling for the tooth to heal before doing the filling.
They then gave me a treatment plan quoting a number and the procedure to be conducted.
In my third visit, Dr. Adili opened the temporary filling and mentioned he is going to perform a ceramic filling

I've been a patient at Ideal for 3 or 4 years. I made the mistake of switching to a dentist closer to my office last year and switched back after a nightmare experience and I realized how amazing this whole office is. Seriously. Don't risk it.
Their office is professional, friendly, clean, experienced, I could just go on and on. Mary at the front desk in particular is amazing. She's great with helping me figure out insurance questions.

Dr. Ghesmati and her support staff are just the best. I've been her patient since 2016, and I have had nothing but pleasant experiences. She's personable, bright and great at her job--she's done two root canals on me, and has filled several cavities, and I haven't experienced any pain. She sees me on time, which is wonderful. The office is clean and convenient, and parking is easy with a garage next door. I've had zero issues with billing. My husband also sees her, and despite being a nervous dental patient, he's very happy with his experiences there. I 100% recommend

I've been with Ideal since the Clarendon location opened but have been less and less satisfied. The first dentist there was Dr. Forbes, I believe - great guy and excellent at his craft and I have nothing but good things to say about him. The latest dentist is Dr. Adili, and every time I go in there it's a sales pitch. He pitched me on Invisalign once, and then I was pitched on it again the next two times. Fine. This latest visit I was told I have minor gum recession which "can be caused by grinding" and that he recommends a night guard. Folks, you and those you sleep with

I'd be careful here. When a place advertises root canals, crowns and implants -you're dental plan will consist of those recommendations
I had a tooth that needed recapped and with decay the tooth was small. I was told a distraction had to be done with an implant being the golden standing, last a bridge. I had a bad feeling. I got a second opinion and my cap is just fine. Even if it last for 3 years - why spend all that money on a tooth that's still healthy. And for the implant I'd have to be referred to someone else. Which was the dentist in the next room. Put on

Dr. Ghesmati is a professional and honest doctor. I had quite a few cavities and she didn't only take care of them, but also made sure I understood why it had to be done (showed me x-rays, pointed out decays and explained which were deep enough to require treatment). She never pressured me into unnecessary procedures, explained risks that came with treatments and left it up to me to decide if I wanted to take it. Today was my second visit with Dr. Ghesmati for dental work and omg the most painless dental work I have ever had! I have a small phobia of the dentist (needle pain) and literally, she did the shots so painless! She makes me look forward to getting the rest of my dental work done with more ease. I am so glad I came here for as a new patient! I also received a nice goody bag on my first visit with whitening trays! Just what I needed before my wedding :) Go here, you wont regreat it :) They also have free parking with is a huge plus.

I've been going here for four years since I moved to the area and and have been happy with all the hygienists and dentists. The receptionists are quite friendly too. But this morning's hygienist, Heather, went above and beyond and gave me the best teeth cleaning I've ever had. At the end she scraped off any bit of remaining plaque on my teeth very delicately and I didn't feel any pain.
Also I can't remember the guys name but he is talkative and very funny and does a thorough cleaning, I'd recommend him too.

Dr. Ghesmati is amazing. I like that she didn't pressuer me to do any extra procedure I did not want to have done but also took the time to explain my options and what she planned on doing.
I have a fear of the dentist and a few bad experiences made me dread any dentist appointment. But Dr. Ghesmati eased my fears and communicated with me through each procedure ensuring that I was comfortable.
I finally fixed all my bad teeth and as long as I am in the DMV area I will be returning to her. This is the first time I've ever felt so comfortable returning to the dentist.

My girlfriend recommended Dr. Azin Ghesmati when I switched jobs and my dentist was no longer in network. I was hesitant as I was traumatized by a dentist in my youth and I still have anxiety. Dr. Ghesmati and her team took my anxiety in stride and did everything to make me comfortable. She answers all of my questions during every visit and checks on me throughout the procedure. Dr. Ghesmati and the whole staff are very professional and truly care about their patients. Last year I scheduled my very first appointment with Ideal Dental. The location is very convenient to my work and they have FREE parking. The office is clean and bright. The entire staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
