Honest opinion from someone who has been living here for 7 months. This place is overly priced. Carpets are stained which is embarrassing when bringing people over, you can hear your neighbors from all four sides, Security here is horrible, got my car broken into a few times and almost stolen. You’ll pay all that money a month for these inconveniences. You also pay for entertainment of seeing homeless people fighting and yelling at night. Mandatory fire alarm inspections and if your apartment isn’t unlocked, for that you get fined. Privacy is a massive thing for me and this place barely provides

I just moved in to this location on Friday and we love it! all thanks to Shawn, at first when I called I spoke with different employee who informed me I wouldn't qualify for this location so naturally I got upset but I did not quit looking for a place to live. One hour later I received a call from Shawn who was just following up with me. I explain my situation to him and also told him that someone had told me I wouldn't qualify but he said don't worry let me work on it.. The staff are very friendly people but they never answer emails. The valet trash isn’t optional, and yet they only show up half the time. And don’t even get me started on the fire alarms, which have faulty for over a year! Over my time here I’ve paid over $600 in valet trash services alone, but they only actually pick it up once a week at most. The other days I have to actually bring the trash back in to my apartment in the morning so I don’t get a notice for leaving it out! I’ve communicated it to the office but nothing changes.

I love living here. The office staff are always so kind and professional with every interaction. They listen whenever I need anything or have any questions. Always offer great suggestions and make me feel like they really care. When I moved in- my apartment was so beautiful. The gym is amazing as well! I am so happy I chose to live here. :)

Beautiful complex. I really enjoy my apartment. Side note: if you are looking for a super quiet apartment complex this is not for you because of the location. There is lots going on with the movie theatre, mall, Chick-fil-A, shops across the street, etc. This place is fast paced. The staff is very nice too. Please pick up after your pets though!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been living at the Colony at the lakes for 10 months now and My wife and I have had a great experience. We love the amenities, like the gym and the pool. It’s always great to get a workout in without commuting. I love how prompt the staff is when we have any sort of maintenance issues. Which we’ve only had 2 and they were minor things. Marissa did a great job at giving us a tour of the apartments and making the lease process so easy. We love Eric, who lives on sight. We just moved in. The staff was very friendly and helpful during the leasing process. Our 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and has a large kitchen. There are a lot of nice amenities available that are just starting to be available as COVID restrictions begin to lift. The location is amazing! We are walking distance to just about everything we need. There are tons of restaurants, banks, a mall and many other stores. Easy access to the interstate to go anywhere else. I love my view of the mountains.

If you’re considering moving in PLEASE READ !!! I lived there for roughly two years. Upstair neighbors were so loud. Always slamming doors causing my wall frames to fall. Smoking cigarettes and throwing the buds into my patio. Asked leasing Staff regarding some of those issues. One of them gave me three options; 1. Brake my lease and move out 2.… Brake my lease and move into another unit at my own expense or 3. Deal with it. I couldn’t believe it. I was never late on my rent in fact I always paid early.

I moved in during the new years season. So I understand their service couldn't be quick. Ppl who work here are very kind and willing to help. It just looks the communication between the maintenance is not fast. I wish they had more installed lights available inside apt. Parking lot is a little uncomfortable because i have to use stairs to get to the floor and it's harder with a heavy things like water bottles.

I use to live in apt 1121, lease expired around April 2019. I had a balance of $287.98. The Colony cashed the check, 6/05/19 is when it went thru, looking at my bank transactions, today being 8/28/19 I see it went into collections, IN MY CREDIT REPORT!!!Ridiculous!! For weeks collections was calling me, told them I paid it, I had proof,… everytime they said they would contact The Colony. The Colony at the time had the WORST MANAGMENT. Neighbors are loud, the lesing office doesnt care. I work 7 to 4 and ive been late becaue i cant sleep. Im going to start calling the police because i cant even all courtesy patrol because they dont answer their calls. There arent any cameras in the elevators. Packages have been stolen from right in front of my door. I emailed the incompetent leasing mgr who didnt even have the decency to respond.
