I have been leaving at this apt 44 in West Covina, since 2016 and never ever had any bad experiences with the staff .
They are friendly, and understanding and professional.,especially office personal.

After moving in here several years ago I quickly regretted it. I’m a disabled veteran and have disabled placards, but the maintenance man Greg always parked in this spot without a placard. When asked if he could not park there he said park somewhere else. He then had my car towed a few weeks later even though my placard was visible on dashboard. They continued to park in the disabled spot when he could. Too many privileges given to the staff.

I've lived here at this complex since 2008 back when it was known as Sunset Gardens, I absolutely love it here the staff are top notch and very friend and kind. The ladies in the office are the best you can ask for. Alyssa and April have gone above and beyond to help me out in my struggles. they have been understanding about my situation. and not to forgot to mention they got the residents food truck Wednesday and I love it.

I had the best experience at 1231 Apartments! I met with Holy and from the beginning She was so caring and professional! She was very detailed and made sure She found the perfect home for me. This location is amazing! It is conveniently located to plenty of shopping & dining. The community itself has amazing amenities and the managers Alyssa and April are so friendly! I toured many different properties and I'm glad I ended up at 1231! I would definitely recommend this community.

Resident here since 2016. I've been happily living here since day 1. The apartment itself is modern and cozy place to call home. There are plenty of nearby grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and freeways. Its a convenient location.
April and Alyssa, with management, are the coolest, and most helpful. They are a true asset to living here. Maintenance when needed is responsive, and get the job done quickly. An awesome community app is available for maintenance request, community forums, and more.
I haven't not experienced what most of the negative reviews state, so don't let them discourage

I just moved into twelve31 last month and it has been nothing but amazing. The management has been there for anything I need and extremely welcoming. I’m beyond satisfied with the community and area, I looked all around San Gabriel Valley and nothing els compared. Clean, quiet, friendly, private, community. Well worth it.

I moved out of 1231 apartments a few weeks ago due to a job change. The decision was very difficult for me because 1231 is such a great place to live. I kept almost changing my mind about moving because I loved the apartment so much. I'll miss the spacious one bedroom with the hardwood flooring and newly renovated kitchen. There was plenty of storage space. I loved coming home to the beautiful apartment everyday.
April and Alyssa were always such a joy to work with, even down to my last few days. Moving out was easy, even with COVID precautions.
I'll also miss the Food Truck Wednesday

We had a terrible experience with another apartment complex where on the day of our move, the complex had did a bait and switch on us with the apartment that we sign for. Two of our requests were that we have no stairs in or outside of the apartment and newer appliances. That complex assured us that it was what we would receive and we even waited two weeks past what we initially planned on to move in. When we got there, on moving day, the apartment had stairs and very old appliances. They also refused to work with

I've been here for a few months and I love our apartment. When we first moved in everything was nice and clean and any questions I had at any time were all answered right away. The girls in the front office Alyssa, April and Holly are on top of any questions that we ever have. And when we first moved in they made it such an easy experience. The location is amazing too!

Have been dealing with the manager April here during my entire stay, and she has been amazing! April has great people skills and is a honestly great person. She definitely goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is great. It is unfortunate I am leaving this apartment as April has made it pleasant, the neighbors are quiet and nice, and the location is close to many places to shop and eat.

This Apartment complex is run my complete scam artist. We thought it was actually a nice apartment complex when we moved in but red flags started just popping up left and right. If you or your family/friends park in the complex they have some really sketchy tow trucking company tow your car, damage it, and charge an excessive $500 dollars. The gates in and out always seem to be broken. The side gate to walk out is always jammed. There's no visitor parking which is just crazy to me. When we moved out of the apartment we were billed 3 weeks later for excessive charges in the amount of $414.

Living at twelve 31 apartments has been a great experience. I’ve been here for 3 years and each year the apartments continue to add more amenities. From a nice size gym, to a recycling option and well around security guard . What I like best is the office staff. Everyone is always so helpful and so understanding when it matters most. Thank you for a great experience all around.

Apartment: I would highly recommend asking to view an actual unoccupied unit instead of their showroom, and make sure you open the drawers and you'll understand what I'm talking about. For the amount of money they charge for an unfinished "upgraded" complex, the quality of their units is not acceptable. Nothing is installed correctly. We had 2 major leaks in both bathrooms, the toilet paper hold broke 3 times, every time they came to fix it they would just use the

I lived here back then. Moved out because the new management FPI kept increasing rent year over year by a significant amount and it seemed like the increase was never going to stop. What frustated us even more was they closed the laundry facility because it was going to be renovated but almost a year later after it closed, it wasn't fixed. It was just closed and I had to take my laundry outside every week. Also the water kept being shut down which was way more frequent than ever before. Even the hot water was shutdown for 1 night. We called the management headquarters and they said it

Today was the last straw for me... while I have no problem paying for utilities the cost of my 2bd/2bth is now OVER 2000$ and it started as 1825$, Their excuse? Oh well the more people who live there the higher the multiplier for utilities. 1.8 for 3 people, yeah would have been fricken nice to know that I would be paying for the other residents in the neighborhoods bill! You guys should be required to disclose that while signing paperwork which I saw no mention of!

If when you move out you don't mind not getting your deposit back, then this is the place for you. When I moved out they had this guy, employee not manager, come and check the apartment. He told me all I had to do was clean the apartment and patch up some holes in the wall and I would get my full deposit back. Lies!
Current management has been there since about September 2016. Bad customer service skills by these "professionals". Previous management (Patty) were kind and helpful. When I moved in they added a new microwave for free as a wedding gift.

The managing staff is absolutely wonderful.
Mrs Patty and her team have always gone above and beyond for what ever request I've had through out the months.
If you have a street apartment it can get a little loud. Fortunately, they installed sound proof slide doors and windows, which make a world of a difference.
Parking is great , I never have issues with it.
Laundry rooms available 24/7. They work with quarters.
Swimming pool open until late evening.
People are friendly here, mostly families.
I've never had an issue with any neighbors
