Services
Preventive services can save lives and improve health by identifying illnesses earlier, and treating them before they develop into more complicated, debilitating conditions. We utilize various health care screenings to check for the presence of disease and track progress of treatment.
While Primary Care encompasses a multitude of health issues, for which the majority will be addressed at Starling Clinic Primary Care, our staff have been trained to excel in the most common day to day chronic health issues a few of which include; HBP, Heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid, neurologic, pulmonary, COPD, and liver disease.

Starling Clinic's Allergy program is lead by a Pediatric & Adult Allergy Board Certified Allergist. Millions of us are allergic to pollen or mold or pet dander, conditions that provoke symptoms far worse than runny noses and itchy eyes. If you have frequent sinus infections, there's a high chance they can stem from undiagnosed and unknown allergies.

The doctors and nurse practitioners were amazing! They helped me get my disability approved. Only AFTER I made it past security aka their receptionist! She asks too many personal questions that do not concern her. Makes it close to impossible to speak with or leave a message for doctors, nurses etc. I hate calling just to make an appointment !I can't believe she is still there!

Front office is nice and communicative, though you do have to change your PCP with insurance provider in order to be seen, which was a pain, but I understand regulations must be tough these days. I did not have to wait for very long to be seen. Medical assistant was kind and quick. I saw the NP today, so I can't comment on the physician here, but she was very informative and helpful with my difficult schedule. They are very strict on state regulations and regulatory substances, which is time consuming, but completely understandable given the low morality of generalized humanity these days

These people are horrible. I came here and they said they would put me on a blood pressure monitor program. Then they started charging my insurance 300 dollars. Even after I moved across the state and I requested them to stop making fraudulent claims on my insurance. They are a bunch of crooks in lab coats.

This place is ridiculous. Was tested with rapid test last Thursday. Place seemed very sketchy. Name didn't match on building. No parking lot tent. Given results 30 min later and was told I have flu b and not covid. I had zero symptoms and hadn't been near a human in a week so thought It was odd and went to my doc who tested me for flu and was told I was negative. Today, 5 days later, they left me a message that I have covid after I also went to get retested days later for covid (since I found this place so incompetent. This place is awful.

Some of the reviews for this place are unfair so I thought I would give mine. First off this review is just for the COVID-19 testing curbside. We scheduled the Rapid test and got our results back in 15 minutes.
For the person saying they were lied to I believe you ordered the wrong test, the PCR test will take 2-7 days to get your results back. We got our results back for both me and my son who went at a different time in 15 minutes.
Also note for the Rapid test there is a $150 fee at this place which everyone charges a fee for that test. Walgreens and places like that charge $139 and good luck

I always got great care when it was Rush family care. I liked the nurse practioners, they were knowledgeable, kind, attentive and never seemed rushed. I love the receptions that's been there a long time. She is courteous, helpful and great customer service skills. My recent appointment I went too, I saw a Doctor. I'm still trying to decide if it was a good visit or not. I'd hate to go somewhere else.

Daughter needed rapid test for COVID due to work, commitments and our family. Googled specifically for this information and was pleased to find this clinic. The call for appt was automated, and appt had to be drive through only according to the recording.
After test done, was told it would be 2-7 days to get results. At this point she asked if this was the rapid test, was told no.
Lesson learned, always ask first! Do not count on advertisements that reel you in. The information posted online by this clinic needs to be completely honest and valid.

I have been a patient here for 6 years.
They changed hands a year ago.
The last year is what earned the new owners the 1 star rating.
Several of the office staff are from the previous owners and still do a great job. Unfortunately, they have to follow the directives and policies of the new owners and "doctor".
Once again, I have been a patient here for 6 years. That means they have 6 years of records. I only get four prescriptions. Nothing crazy. Thyroid. Blood pressure. Allergy med, and an antibiotic every now and then.
The Corona virus is going on now. I need to get a renewal on Thyroid

Dr. Imam is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about caring for his patients. You can tell his ultimate goal is to get his patients following healthy lifestyles that will last long term. He is focused on getting you the right care you need to target and fix your health issues. I trust Dr. Waseem with all my health related questions and concerns, and I feel confident I am getting high quality medical care and attention. I would recommend Dr. Imam and Starling Clinic to everyone!

Dr. Imam is one of the best doctors I know!! He takes good care of his patients and always takes time to answer my questions, no matter how silly I know they are. His meal plans are tried and tested - he always implements them into hos own life before he recommends them to a patient. I've followed Dr. Imam's meal plan and have lost weight and feel healthy. If you're looking for quality care and doctors who care, this is the place to go.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I recommend Starling Clinic to anyone. Dr. Mohammed Imam is a very good doctor. He listens to what you have to say. He explains & educates you on what your issue is. I’ve also seen the Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Owen. She’s good as well. I will continue seeing this clinic for all my health issues & needs.

I've gone here for two years. I use to be treated by doctor Frye. I discovered September 2018 that I had blood cancer and because of this I have to be checked quite regularly. I go to Sora because it's the cheapest to get blood work done which my cancer doctor orders and keeps an eye on. Today I was forced to wait 50 minutes to find out at the end I was not going to just be charged for my blood work like the million times I've been there before but they were also going to charge me a doctor visit. Why when the doctors at Sora have nothing to do with my blood test my cancer doctor

Doctor Imam has been a very accurate and reliable doctor whom I’ve consulted for diabetes, hypertension, and other diet related health issues. He’s advised me on keto and intermitted fasting that dramatically improved my health. He’s a doctor who truly tries to understand what’s going on with a patient and treats it at the root cause rather than just medicate them.

Changing from 5 to 1 star. Dr Frye is no longer at this place unfortunately. She was a terrific doctor and get replacement leaves A LOT to be desired. Had a terrible experience here on Monday. I was left in pain in the waiting room for 30 minutes. After 15 minutes I cracked the door to see what was taking so long and the doctor was walking around not doing much of anything. There were no other patients there. I finally got fed up and left. I was in pain, but now I was being treated without manners.
I left a review on Google and the owner responded with some nonsense about other patients and walk

My first visit was in 2017. I had severe sinus and chest congestion that I couldn't hear out my right ear. Staff was nice, got prescribed some meds, and was in and out fairly quickly. That visit then only cost $75 plus meds.
This year I came in for chest congestion, cough, and fever. Doctor said it might be the flu but didn't test me for it even though I had most of the symptoms. Either way I got prescribed some meds and they recommended my hubby to fill them at the pharmacy next door. There was a really nice guy who gave me water and

I had the "pleasure" of meeting Dr Laura Frye.
Despite of appointment, i had to wait 35 minutes which was an unexpected and unwelcome experience. I was being polite and understanding and merely spoke with the nurse that why am I being treated like a walk-in patient when I have an appointment.
While speaking with the nurse, i saw the form, she was holding in the clip board. The form had my name and my chief complaint and on the top right corner of the form, it said "Walk-In". WHAT A JOKE. When i entered the clinic, i told receptionist that i have an appointment for 3:00 PM

The one star reviews are incredibly misleading. Just because the pay scale is not what you anticipated does not mean the level of quality care is poor.
I absolutely LOVE Dr Frye. She has called me late on Saturday nights on her personal time to let me know labwork results that can't wait to be conveyed until business hours. She is a national treasure. She is smart, practical, and has an extensive network of doctors of the same solid ilk. Her office partner is also phenomenal as is the woman who is in her residency to become a physician's assistant.
They all truly care. I love them all

I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me. She made sure that all of my questions were answered and then some. The best part is that their price structure is better than my Insurance's deductible. I was able to make an appointment on Sunday morning and they managed to squeeze me. This office will be my new PCP.

Pros:
Clean office.
Up front fee of $80 (for most services)
No insurance clinic (they can give you a form and you can file if you want)
Convenient locale
Not shady AF
Docs look legit
They take walk-ins
Kevin, the office manager, is AMAZING. They should clone him and replace the front desk with him.
Cons:
They charge by the problem, not by the visit, thus creating the perfect storm of "what do I say?"
Doctor-Thinks-He's-Jesus-itus
Front desk chicks could turn your cappuccino into an Icee with the cold shoulders
If you actually need Xanax or pain medicine, don't come here

Awful experience. I saw Dr. Laura Frye for a sudden high fever and other serious symptoms. Within a few minutes and without running any tests, she diagnosed me with the flu. According to her it didn't matter that it wasn't flu season and I hadn't been traveling, I just had to wait it out. She is the MD so I tried to follow her instructions. Within days I was at the emergency room with a severe kidney infection that lasted another two very painful weeks. Everybody since, including the ER MD and my regular MD office, were surprised by the carelessness of Frye's diagnosis

Zero stars is what they should get. They don't take insurance at all and don't tell you that upfront when scheduling the appointment. The reason they give is that "So everyone can use our service". Well let me tell you...it's so that they can charge whatever prices they want from the majority Hispanic clients who don't know any better.
Good example of what's ailing our healthcare system in this country. If you have insurance...avoid this place.

I had the sudden realization that what I thought was a minor lump on my back was actually a serious deeply embedded infection. I was between jobs, had no insurance, and was facing huge medical bills if I went to a hospital. I discovered the Sora Medical Clinic on the web and liked their reviews and fixed non-insurance based pricing.
I was especially delighted to meet Doctors Michael Hellemn and Laura Frye, who performed out-patient surgery to remove the infected tissue from my back, and treated the infection to its successful elimination. Both doctors were incredibly kind in their bedside manner

I have the Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage, and still go here as it is much less expensive and easier to get in to see a doctor than my regular doc if that makes sense. They do testosterone therapy for about half of what the Low T clinics charge and for the exact same treatment. What a great find indeed. I work hard for my money and they do too. Great value and results for my time and money.
