The Pilates Concept
We are a fully equipped Pilates Studio dedicated to the well being of our clients. We are located in the beautiful Cultural District of Fort Worth. Our goal is to increase our clients quality of life through movements that develop deep muscles and transform their body from the inside out. So many people only focus on their superficial larger muscle groups, forgetting that there are so many deep stabilizers beneath.

Pilates creates longer, leaner muscles, improves postural issues, increases core strength, stability, and peripheral mobility. We focus on movement therapies that are recognized as superior preventive medicine, and unsurpassed for injury rehabilitation. So many people in our society sit the majority of their days glued to their computer screens.
Services
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, who designed a system of exercise during the First World War with the proposal to improve the rehabilitation program for the many returning veterans. He developed precise movements emphasizing control and form to aid the injured soldiers in regaining their health by strengthening, stretching, and stabilizing key muscles.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, concentration in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. Upon entering OU with a dance scholarship, she sustained a broken foot. She was then referred to Physical Therapy And Pilates. Through out the years of dancing and the many injuries and pains that come with any type of athleticism she continued her Pilates as rehabilitation.
Privates and semi private classes include the use of the Cadillac, Reformers, Chairs, Ladder Barrel, and props to create a fully tailored workout by your trainer. All Sessions last 55 minutes. Group Equipment utilizes the use of the following pieces of equipment: Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Barrels, Mat, and small equipment (bands, weights, stability discs, balls, rings, etc).
STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Co-founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over two decades refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment.

Started (very hesitantly) at Pilates Concept in July of 2020 because I was tired of being in pain all the time. I used the intro package to do a couple of Melt classes and one solo with Linda, which helped take away the intimidation factor of the reformer.
I never looked back - quit the other training I was doing (I had to talk myself into going every time and never felt good) and swapped over to regular classes at Pilates Concept. I've never felt better and I'm pretty sure my friends and family are sick of hearing me talk about Pilates all the time, but I truly believe everyone needs it.
I love

I've been doing Pilates for several years now at various studios around DFW. I've just recently started going to The Pilates Concept but was very excited to find a quality, knowledgeable studio after I moved to FW and had to leave my old studio. Great people and equipment!

I had heard that Pilates was a great way to add strength AND flexibility, so I asked some folks if they knew any quality Pilates studios. Lucky for me, I was referred to Pilates Concepts on Camp Bowie Blvd
First, let's talk about the facilities. Parking is free and usually available right in front of the door. There's a big mirror on one wall, and some posters on another to help you identify all your muscles. There are several Pilates machines with enough room between them so you don't touch your neighbor. The floors are clean, and the place is well lit. There are both reformer
